if you owned a porn company? How would you improve porn?

Personally I'd cut put any extreme closeups where all you can see is cock entering vagina. It's lazy camera work, and just not sexy.

I usually reply with some pithy limerick but this is a real cool question.

Personally I would allow all forms of consensual sexual activity. There are people who have for many years gotten off by doing things that others are turned off by. I of course do not include illegal activity here. But if someone wishes to watch an act of consensual sexual violence for instance, or whatever, then they should be able to. In my opinion.

Because I find scripted porn almost always unutterably boring I'm not best qualified to answer. However I'd probably try and make it more joyful, less about what men want to see and much less available to people who aren't sexually mature enough to understand the difference between fantasy and reality.

I'd cut out the shit camera work (as well as crappy lighting for that matter). I'm sick of watching beautiful women from a worm's eye view. I assume the cameraman's not two foot tall. I agree with most of the points here. Especially showing off the beautiful women, rather than focusing on their ass or orifices. And as for the shit acting, I agree, get rid of it, most people just skip to the sex anyway.
