Couples asking for pics and vids on WhatsApp within an hour of chatting, is it us or does this raise a red flag for others too??

Sometimes people just love to collect pics and videos but they're a bit keen to ask within an hour?! Normally I ask for a picture if I'm talking to a girl and doesn't have any photos so I know who I'm speaking to but you clearly have enough on your profile x

We never share pictures or messages anywhere but fab. Not foolproof but it's telling how many people stop messaging when we refuse.

Definitely a warning to us, a) wanting to move off site so fast and b) asking for pics when you've already got loads public.

We watermark all our pics.

It does seem a bit full on asking so quickly, but saying that, if your conversation was heading on that direction they may not have thought they were being too forward in asking.

That's what we said, there's over 50 on our profile, Mr is in most of the private ones, but apparently they like live pics that no-one else has seen

It's clear on my profile that I don't pic swap due to being approached on FB and approached in public my pics are now friends only for people I've met in person. I'm finding this works for me.

Yea was a bit of a strange one as it wasn't going anywhere near that direction, the guy just came out with it, funnily enough they didn't say much after they realised they wasn't getting any lol

I think it's always good to remember in any on line interaction that just because someone asks for something you're not under any obligation to provide it.

It pays to keep your guard up and your bullshit meter set to sensitive.

Yea there gone now, deleted the group chat and removed from friends list, we sort of realised what they were upto when they would have a different set of friends on there list every day

I avoid anyone who wants to take chat off site, particularly that quickly.

The messaging system on fab is more than adequate for my needs and i will NOT give out my phone number to strangers on here. There are only 3 people on fab who know my number - 2 are regular meets and the other is a family member.

Lol yea apparently this couple thought fab was full of people they didn't like, yet there on line 24/7

I think the opposite. Maybe this is a single guy's perspective, but anyone who reads these forums will be aware of the increasing incidence of fake profiles.

I saw being able to chat via other means (the messaging system is clumsy at best) and having available pictures is more likely to suggest someone who actually is likely to be who they say they are and eventually are likely to meet.

When you get alot of messages and friends requests, and spoken to alot of couples and women you soon build up a knowledge of who's serious about meeting and who's here purely for kicks,(pic,vids, attention)
