Somewhere / Everywhere /Kinksville

For me it’s not practical. We got offers from all over. But given our limited time to play, we don’t want to increae the chance of the meet not happening by agreeing with some guy who’s previously said he’s happy to drive god knows how many hours. After he’s had a wank and a think about his pending journey

Having said that, About ten years ago I did have a guy drive up from the south west once. I think that took him 6 hours.

Absolutely but what's the point stressing about if you know that neither you nor them are not going to travel?

I've met a couple of people from 100+ miles away and been worth it every time, tend not to be one offs either. But there's people I chat to from much further afield who is still love to meet given the right opportunity. If you have the time and means, distance doesn't need to be an issue for one offs, but when you're looking for something more then it'll quickly become a chore

All of our meets ARE miles away, that’s how we like it to be.

It's a preference for some people which is also cool.

There are loads I’d love to meet who live miles away but because they live so far away I know it will never happen.

In a sense I’m lucky because my job sends me all over the place. So I don’t mind people far away messaging me - as there’s always a chance I can meet when I’m next there

I have no issues at all about travelling miles for a meet. State that on my profile. If the dreaded 'no show' rears its ugly head, then I think ah well let's go out in this new town and see what happens.

Prefer not too close to home tbh! Might be a little awkward meeting in the kids playground or at tescos veg aisle!!

Saying that any meet would be good !!!

Yes! A couple of people I’ve met through forums. Best approach is just to chat as friends and if there’s a time your paths cross then great times ahead, I think it’s unfair to make plans when there’s a lot of distance between simply because there are so many things that could prevent it.

I’ve been as far as Fife from Liverpool for a meet. It was worth it too.

Yes, I have. I was prepared to travel 2 hrs for a coffee once. And would again, I've never regretted anything I do, only things I didn't do?
