Club meets for lone male

Hi All

I wondered can anyone give me some pointers on club meets please. I’m keen to explore these but as a lone male find myself wondering how well i would be received.

I am a friendly articulate chap and can easily chat to folks but is it really that easy??? I can’t be the only one who’d find this daunting??

Ideally finding a lovely lady to share the evenings with would be preferable but still I’d like to venture out

Pointers or places to visit, thank you in advance xx

South West

It is daunting the first time for everyone!

Gloucester is not so far away from you?

They do socials, an excellent way to meet people. They should be on the Forum.

Good luck x

It can be just as easy as smiling at someone and striking up a conversation Some will be wary of you as a single guy in a club so it's on you to put them at ease that you're not some mute wandering wanker.

Once you get past that social barrier then you can try and find out what sort of thing they're into and if you can fit in with that. Don't assume anything and be prepared to back off to give them breathing space. Always leave them wanting more.

Thanks both

Really appreciate this, it’s interesting actually because it makes me wonder if there are these mutes wandering round clubs simply getting off watching!!

I shall start looking where to go in time

We see a mixture of some decent single blokes and the typical zombie wankers. Also the hide in a corner ones. We had a guy staring at us from a dark corner in an open bed and 10 mins later another single just got the bed without asking first. There are also arrogant single females and couples! Just be yourself, have a chat and not be pushy.

We were really nervous first time at a club!

There are club nights which are couples only. and there are club nights which allow single men. Obviously you would attend the latter. Nights that allow single men are less likely to be Saturday night. However if you attend a club on a night where single men are attending you can feel comfortable that the couples there do actually like single men, otherwise there would go on couples night. There might be some single ladies so you might be able to meet a FWB. Best thing to do is chat to people. If nothing happens then at least you will have made friends which will have increased your swinging circle and connections. The more people you know and who like you the greater chance you will have of being invited to privately organised parties, which can often be easier to socialise because people know each other. Also remember you can enjoy watching people play at clubs and parties.

The FFFF event Xtasia does gets very, very busy. If you want to make friends from all over i'd say that's your first place to go. It's where i started

There and to the left a bit

Treat a visit to a club just the same as a night out in a bar (but without getting d*unk!!), go along with no expectations of anything other than potentially meeting and chatting to people.

Be prepared to make eye contact and engage in conversation, and also to graciously accept a polite no thanks.

Clubs are daunting for anyone, couples and singles alike but the ones I have been to the staff are friendly and welcoming, and will gladly show you round and explain etiquette etc.

Just relax and enjoy yourself, and as others have said don't whatever you do join the wank conga of single guys that tours the club every 5 mins!!

Yes, in my opinion it is that easy. If you can hold a conversation you can get really far, social skills are a winner in clubs. That's what I think about it.

Leeds

Pretty much what everyone else has said, just approach as you would any other social situation where you don't know people. Have a mingle and get chatting!
