Nope. A female friend tried it and said it seemed better than Fab so I opened an account but it flooded me with messages allegedly from ladies with names like "LuluBigTits" and said I had to pay £85 to view them (for a mandatory 3 months subscription).

Fab, for all it's faults, seems better. I think my friend has only met one guy from PoF too and he wasn't to her taste.

I think you're confusing it with another site. 6 months premium membership on POF is about £50. And you can message just fine without paying (though there may be a daily limit on the number of messages you can send.)

For me, POF is the best of a bad bunch when it comes to dating (rather than swinging.) Lots of time wasters on there. Lots of people who just want a shag or to talk dirty. A fair number of Nigerian scammers. But I have had several dates and one short lived relationship out of POF. That's more than I can day for Badoo, Tinder, OK Cupid etc.
