Would it put you off to know a lady you were meeting was wearing a wig?

Long as it's not a judge or barrister type wig!

No clown or judge wig. One that just looks like normal hair.

Seriously though, I wouldn't be bothered at all, personality is far more important to me.

Not at all, a wig can be as sexy as any other accessory or make

A question for the ladies who do wear wigs, where do you buy them from and what do you look for to know it's a good quality one, and not a novelty one?

Nylon ones can actually be better and easier to maintain than real hair ones

I suppose it depends on the wig, but I've seen some pictures on here that just look ridiculous

Wigs can be a fashion accessory ... much the same as hair extensions so not really an issue

And if it’s for a medical reason , recovering from cancer or alopicia or simply thinning hair then most people would not even bat an eyelid

I only wear wigs because my natural hair is difficult to maintain and I make them myself, but i only ever buy real hair not synthetic

I have alopecia and scalp psoriasis, the hair I lose through alopecia I will never get back so I bought a cheap wig from Amazon, my 2 expensive ones (100's each) are no longer useable. I wasn't happy with it to start with but some clips in place it looks good, and cost under 18 quid.

Still debating with myself to shave all my hair off, I'm being chicken about it.

Even the expensive ones only last less than a year, I've never had a real hair one though. They go frizzy from the friction and start to stick out and look wiggy.

There are proper wig shops you can go in, sometimes appointment only, and some sex shops do wigs. Then you have internet but they don't often come looking like the pictures.

Are you wanting to shave your head so it all looks the same rather than patchy? Could you just trim it so it's not as 'extreme' as shaving?

In answer to your OP it wouldn't put me off at all.

I have very short hair now, about 2", I also bleach it so the contrast between scalp and hair isn't as noticeable. I know bleaching isn't helping either. I was thinking of shaving it all off so I could treat the psoriasis easier. I wear a hat for work and almost daily mistaken for a bloke anyway.

I thought if the hair was gone I wouldn't have to bleach it either. I'm torn what to do for the best.

You could shave it shorter like a buzz cut. Kate Hudson has a buzz cut at the mo. If you didn't like it, it would grow back. Maybe try a different hair lightner instead of harsh bleach.

As for the bloke thing, my friend wore a baseball cap when she lost all her hair but she jazzed it up to be more feminine.
