So I have been active on this site for about a week (although my profile is a year old, sorry about that!).

Anyway, I do not usually message directly, the rationale being, that couples and single ladies get a shed load of mails and I dont like to get lost in the crowd. Now I do ok (if that sounds dreadfully arrogant, sorry, perhaps a better thing to say is, I have a "nice" number of meets).

So are there any others that dont like to message, and I guess this is aimed at the gents, because if couples and single ladies say the say they will be inundated. To the single females and to the couples, do you see this as a sign of laziness or do you think its an acceptable thing for me to do?

Not fishing (well maybe trawling), but just wondered, i wont change my approach, but it will help me to know whether taking a "back seat" is viewed as acceptable or as a sign that I am not really committed to swinging (not true, but well its the internet, you can say what you like about me, woohoo)

Most single guys are "hunters" but not all hunters are crack shots, so they tend to miss more than they hit.

"Trappers" can lie in wait to see what comes their way.

They don't have to eat everything that they snare and can be selective depending on their appetite

There's plenty of ways to put food on the table, you just have to decide which works best for you

According to your analogy I am therefore a "trapper", thanks for that (wanders off Singing "Davy, Davy Crocket King of the wild frontier", lol).

I guess its just about the whole, "hoop jumping" thing, I read through some profiles and think, wow, I am not sure I match all of that, so I shall sit back and if they wink or message I will have a chat and see where it goes.

I am a non-pushy guy, and not to everyones taste, I am sure. So I tend to take a relaxed approach.

if its working for you as youve said then youre wayyyy ahead of the curve lol !no-one has right to dictate how you run your profile and search for meets ,its the way the thats right and comfortable for you.there is no right or wrong way of doing things ,just what gets the results you wish . who cares what other people think of way you do things ! its working for you and thats all that matters .wish you alot more fun on the site x

Thanks for the above and yes you are right, its for me the most "comfortable" way of doing things. It also means I dont get rejected (lol, there is always another motive to doing something!)
