Birmingham Airport

Could it be due to austerity and all that?

Over ther years I notice that the number of people who can accommodate has shrunk remarkably.

??

I'd say a combination of factors.

Less inclination to invite strangers to their home.

More young adults still living with parents.

More people who swing having their young adults still living at home.

I currently house share, with a fellow Fabber (purely platonic) (oh, ok mostly platonic) and neither of us would accommodate until we’ve known someone both well and for a reasonable period of time.

It’s about safety and respect for each other as well as the fact that we both have busy jobs and a fairly full on real life world.

When I lived alone I wouldn’t accommodate from both a safety perspective and actually I’m not a fan of less well known house guests under any circumstance. This obviously changed when Number One Chap and I became more established and I fathomed out that he wasn’t a total loon (albeit I did have to hide biscuits and sweeties because he has the sweetest tooth known to man)

From what I remember dear. When you were on your own. I was only offered tea and the only thing found in your fridge was vodka! NOC
