Messaging etiquette

I want to know how couples and fems deal with their messages. Having sent facepic messages locally I can see many still on the system marked read not deleted, or marked unread (including those that have been read and reset to unread).

How long should I allow folk to respond before deleting my facepic as a safety measure?

I'd say 24 hours.

You can tick the box to delete your picture after the message is read too.

I am not sure auto delete works. Thanks for taking the trouble to advise. I have spoken to people who state they get too many to reply in a day or two. On my own profile I can only read back a certain number of messages. I have to delete more recent ones to check the status of older messages. Is that because I access via phone rather than laptop?

We've had loads of messages where autodelete has been successful.

We have to delete messages to read older ones sometimes and we use desk top a lot.

If you feel that people need 48 hours or longer then leave it that long.

Why would anyone bother doing that?

Some of our messages can be unread for a couple of weeks. We do, that’s both of us, read them eventually and reply back if they are our type and do actually meet and are within meeting distance.

The OP was wondering how long to leave face pics up as a safety concern.

I was merely pointing out that the pics could have been screenshotted anyhow.

Why anyone would do that, I’m not entirely sure. Just saying.
