let down ????

why do some ladies wink, you reply in a honest fashion, give them a genuine, safe course of action to take towards a meet, then they put in their update that they have been let down again....not surprised!!!!. Not all single men will dance to your tune, some of us have certain stipulations too..my main one is diplomacy...for the illiterate ones on here, that means working something out that is agreeable to both partys concerned. You have only let yourself down..tut tut !!!

a wink is a click of a button and nothing else. if i wanted to talk/message someone i wouldn't wink i would ACTUALLY write a message

in that case , should winks be ignored and presumed as timewasters..i personally have messaged rather than a wink if i wanted to make contact...i also read profiles very carefully before doing so...why wink or message if your not what the profileholder is looking for!!

i have...but it does stir the hornets nest in forum...didn`t mean it to be personal or to attract bad responses...just honest ones. This site has the single male as the majority and feel we get a bad deal just for being single....come to think about it i bet half the single males don`t know where the forum is....err..is where you pay to go into cinema!!!!!!

I ignore all winks and friends invites, and block those whose forums posts or messages I do not appreciate, so as to prevent wasting time and efforts to communicate etc...

So I must be a timewaster.

You dont know if it is referring to you do you. Maybe the neighbour picking up the post for her let her down or maybe it was to do with a meet on here not necessarily about you x

Diplomacy- definition- skill in handling affairs without arousing hostility.

Methinks you may need a bit more practise!
