Hotel Meets

I've noticed on a few lady's profiles recently the phrase "I don't meet in hotels", which intrigues me. Clearly, like everything on here, there is a big element of personal preference and I'm not debating the right of anyone to make this stipulation, but it does intrigue me.

Personally I like the relaxed, "neutral ground" of hotels - and if the guy has anything about him his choice of establishment will be reasonably luxurious too. From a woman's point of view, I would have thought the element of relative safety compared to a guy's place would be appealing too.

Can any women who don't meet in hotels satisfy my curiosity and say why?

I suspect it might be ‘I’m not going to respond positively to a “heh I’m in a hotel with work right now and you’re nearby” scenario. Geographical proximity is not a fandango flutter trigger.

If I were a single lady, no I wouldn't do a hotel meet with someone I've never met before. That would imply that I sex is guaranteed when I haven't even met them. Would be happy to stay the night in a hotel with someone I am involved with. Same applies to us as a couple. We certainly avoid the guys looking for hotel meets as we'd rather get to know someone first.

. .I do mostly hotel meets, nothing to do with expecting sex(hoping yes!)...but I make it clear I have no expectations, but I like the idea of neutral ground, and if it just turns out to be coffee or drinks in the bar,so be it! ...or one occasion just watching tv and chatting all night!...though breakfast was a pleasant surprise!

I don’t like hotel meets because I personally think men who like hotel meets tend to treat women as little more than unpaid prostitutes

Perhaps it depends on the individual man and the nature of the relationship. I'm in a hotel tonight you wanna come round is clearly not a great message to receive.

But if it's more than a one off meet then there are circumstances where hotel meets can be fun or a solution to external circumstances

That's a bit unfair.

I’m going by personal experience and life isn’t fair anyway

I stay over in hotels in Manchester fairly regularly, I'm not just after a quick hotel meet, happy to go out to a bar or visit a club.

Just because you have a hotel room booked doesn't mean that you're only looking for fun in the room.

this! i live not far from heathrow so, despite what it says on my profile, i get a lot of 'im in a hotel near you'....often starts with 'im really bored'..which is hardly enticing!

I frequently get asked by ladies specifically to meet in hotels, as the lady prefers the neutral ground idea vs either going to a single guys place alone or them coming to their home

Yep. Passing through with work and your profile caught my eye.

These are the same as "I'm pulled over in my truck if you want some cock" as far as I'm concerned.

I have had some great hotel meets, but as you say, they've been planned with those I know rather than random.

All our meets are hotel meets, never spur of the moment, they're always planned and usually with 'solidly' verified fabbers.

Exactly, never sent a message saying I'm in a nearby hotel,....it's usually after a couple of weeks conversing, and a hotel is(I think)a nice safe environment!

I think for me it would look like someone passing through town and expecting a quick meet.

For single women it may also be a safety issue

We have done a hotel meet ,with a couple after a social .

Not at all! I get suck of messages telling me "let's meet I'm in a hotel a mile away" hence being treated like an unpaid prostitute, expecting me to drive there at stupid o'clock, drop my knickers just cos they want instashag.
