I think getting the right size is very very important. We have a couple of vibrating ones. The first made me numb to the point I simply couldn't feel my penis at all. It took about 20mins to be able to feel it again - quite alarming. I think it was how tight the rings were (I'm quite girthy) but might equally have been the vibrations too or combination of both.

Not surprisingly we waited awhile before trying again. The new one is more a strap you tighten and is proving much more enjoyable for me (Her definitely likes the vibrations). I haven't noticed feeling any harder or lasting any longer but that's generally not an issue for me anyway.
