I feel your pain. The Mrs went mad when I told her I was paid by the hour and I had to down tools and get a part from the supplier. Water everywhere and part was on back order too. Nightmare.

I did a meet me in the pub and pretend I don't know you date with a good friend . I felt like everyone was looking at me . And could not even look up at anyone . As our training they asked us to role play to hone our selling techniques.

My answer to this

'My wife has been trying to get me to role play for the last 10 years and it hasn't happened yet, so it certainly isn't going to happen here today'.

Needless to say, I was out of a job the following week

I had to role play in an interview for m&s ! Needless to say I didn't get the job!! Was quite cross really! They want a sales assistant or a frigging actress!!

Only tried it once so far and did indeed have to focus to stay in-character. Once I got over it it was great fun. Definitely gonna do it again and certainly recommend it

I find a sense of humour and being able to laugh at yourself is a wonderful trait. This site is full of oddballs and never ceases to amaze me. Life should never be taken too seriously, you’ll never make it out alive.
