Appearance when meeting

Who puts an importance on their appearance when meeting others from the site? Although I have never set up a meet from this site with a couple I would be inclined to dress smartly when meeting. Maybe a suit or smart jacket, shirt, trousers or smart jeans would be suitable. If I met a couple and they were scruffy then that would be a turn off. It would also be a turn off if a single woman was badly turned out. Ladies and couples what do you prefer and guys has the smart appearance helped you during meets in the past?

Black tie for men, cocktail dresses for the ladies otherwise I'm out of there!

Treat it like any date, wear what you're comfortable in and what is suitable to your surroundings

Wear what you think is appropriate and not what you think you should and something that's relevant to where you're meeting the other party or you'll feel awkward wearing a suit if you're meeting at a local cafe

Obviously clean ironed cloths are a must.

Have you ever seen chavs in court wearing a suit, hoping it will win the judge over

Hmmm. Just been reading the thread about trainers in clubs.

As a female I have always gone to a lot of effort to meet. Whether that's our or in our home.

So for play meets I'm dressing like the pics you see on our profile. And when i met Sir for the first time, I dressed very conservatively, in a nice feminine dress but nothing on show. I knew he was more than a Fab fuck so tested the water to see how well we matched. The venue was a very nice hotel and the meet was a social coffee following two weeks of constant (hourly) messaging. He turned up in a suit, the chemistry was as good in person as it was in message. Happy ever after.

Oh if he'd turned up trainers or just not dressed appropriatetly for the occasion it wouldn't have worked.

Agree that some meeting places are more casual, and casual can make people feel more comfortable.

I have met a couple who introduced me to the site (verification), but we met at a naturist camp site, so no clothes and the subject was irrelevant. But a new meeting in a social place makes me think smartness and fresh and clean (unless a quick meet after work to just meet and say hello).

Can't believe the number of times this gets asked! I reckon it's a total non issue. Though, if anyone brings out a range of clothes that makes someone who didn't want to fuck you, want to fuck you, I might change my mind..

I seriously doubt that it makes any difference. I certainly wouldn't in the real world. Anybody feeling so self entitled that they'll decide not to meet/fuck on the basis of what someone is wearing needs to have a serious word with themselves..

If you're meeting for coffee, wear what you wear when you meet someone for coffee. If you're meeting for dinner wear what you wear when you meet someone for dinner.

If you're meeting to fuck, who cares. It'll all be coming off soon enough anyway..

So you expect a lady who has gone to a lot of bother to be enamoured by a guy who may have seen soap recently and turning up in joggers and trainers.

Thanks all the same but I don't need to have a word with myself. Thankfully most guys know and understand why it's common courtesy to make a suitable effort in return.

I'm an adult. I know how to dress myself. If there's even a whiff of a guy suggesting what I should wear then we won't be meeting

I explained to my last meet that id be coming straight from work, but so was she so it was no issue, the meet was at a hotel so showers were available, I think cleanliness is more important than clothes

That's different, you explained and she had a choice. Like I once had a guy offer to come straight from work and shower at mine after a 10mile bike ride. The answer was no. Choice is key

There and to the left a bit

I will ALWAYS make an effort to look my best regardless of whether it's for a social meet, a play meet or a club visit - now that usually means a shirt and smart jeans and shoes (not trainers) but may change to suit the venue. It will always involve being clean and presentable regardless of the type of meet.

As for who I'm meeting, I have no expectations other than they have made a similar effort to be clean and look attractive, and feel comfortable.

I put as much effort in as I do whenever I go out in public. I'll be showered and shaved as standard. I don't go out without doing my hair and make up, my nails are always done, I don't go out wearing clothes I slouch around the house in. The only exception is of a Sunday when I'm doing the weekly shop. I expect a guy to have made the same amount of effort. There's no need for formal attire just be clean and don't look like a slob.

Maybe you've misunderstood me - what I meant was I wouldn't want someone I was meeting to feel uncomfortable by dressing in a way they felt they "should" dress rather than how they felt most comfortable

Hiding in the shadows

First impressions do count.

I like to make an effort when I go out. I spend my days in sweaty gym clothes, so to dress up, hair, make up, nice shoes makes me feel like a woman again.

If I turned up, and someone hadn't put in the same effort, it would definitely put me off.

But I have on a couple of occasions, been held up at work before going to a social meet, have messaged to say I'll either have to alter the time so can change, or I'll be in my trackies.

Neither guy minded, and we did go on to meet again

I enjoy wearing, but can never describe wearing a corset as comfortable. But at least I made the effort for my meets

wear what makes you feel comfy in - some ladies really love to dress to thrill - im more more simple - to a club meet a simple sexy slip dress and bare feet and a home meet - i just get naked to play - doesnt matter as long as everyone and everywhere is clean

Ah I see what you're saying now and are referring to the physical comfortable rather than the mental one, which is what I meant.

As for making the effort I KNOW that was never in question

Look presentable..

But really no need for the whole shirt, tie jacket thing. Totally over kill and unnecessary. You ain't going to a bloody wedding.

What about if that look was a turn on for a couple or woman, they might like it and it might be a quicker route to the action we are all looking for?

Exactly this.

I don't do social meets and usually turn up in jeans and converse(I have been known to turn up in just lingerie at the door) with my lingerie underneath.

If that's not good enough then feel free to show me the door

Confortable fine as long as CLEAN and minimum smart casual - I put an effort in I expect the same in return. I've had some guys turn up actually dirty as in mud or stains on clothes and clearly not had a shower for at least 2 days (boak)

I like a man to take trouble with his appearance and appreciate it when they do. I always make an effort as does Mr N.

I think a suit and tie is a great look but it might be a little too much however if a guy turned up to meet us in a nice shirt and trousers I would appreciate it.
