Hello all, and thanks for taking time to read this topic.

We are a young couple, not new to the swinging scene but we have yet to go to a swingers club. The reason that puts us off clubs is the fact that we swing bareback, because one of us has trouble with condoms, and didnt know whether bareback was prohibited in clubs, frowned upon, or just considered unsafe.

If anyone could give us some information, or if anyone else swings bareback in clubs, it would be great to know.

Would also love to hear some opinions, and thoughts about the whole thing, whether it be for or against bareback swinging in clubs.

Thank you. Sam & Dan x

Mmmmm...this post been on for 7 hours with no replies!!!(there are now)

No point in opening another debate on safe sex...there are lots of good posts on the site forum about this. There are also posts about different types of condoms for people who have "trouble" with condoms.

Bareback in clubs not frowned on but you will obviously need to discuss this with potential partners...you will find that alot(?the majority)will insist on safe sex but its certainly not prohibited in clubs but it is encouraged and safe sex is promoted.

Plenty of people play bareback in clubs.

It really is down to personal preference. Some get castigated for there views on it, but that is expected.

We prefer to look after ourselves and am not really concerned what others do.

Firstly I want to totally disagree with the 'insist on safe sex' - unless the partner is a woman, I rarely ever hear a man say 'condom' and you can be assured in my experience watching, in clubs and in dark rooms, the number of times men have to 'leave' to find a condom when you thump them after their 5th or 6th attempt to plug in leaves me totally astounded.

I've only every experienced observation of 3 men in the last few years in England that actually brought a condom to a club or private meet.

I've had men argue with me (over me or my ex) and why they don't need a condom from 'I can't get anyone pregnant' to 'I have very little output'

Condoms are a good barrier against that bloke your about to fuck who's had his plunger in some other chick (or bloke) before you and hasn't washed well or picked up a nasty, delivered by some other bloke some time before.

Thankfully most coupled women in long term relationships are safe overall. It's really men that propagate the majority of STDs, though women can get thrush and herpes from oral sex with another woman.

There are no known cases of woman giving each other AIDS.

I personally avoid any profile that has many verifications of men and bareback.

And for the record there is an enzyme in salyva that is known to destroy the HIV/AIDS virus.

What you do it a club is upto you

If you get talking to people and go into a private room wether you use condoms or not is upto you and noone else will know

If you play bareback in open rooms it may put some off but then you wouldnt be playing with those it put off anyway so it dont matter

In have played with many guys who have tried to slip it up unprotected, and some are with their mrs, so yeah it happens with single guys and couples

I can't believe that strangers in clubs can even do bareback and not worry about it! Very dangerous. If people are regularly checked then fair enough.

What about clubs that offer gang bangs and bukkake ? That's all bareback!

Totally disagree not all gangbangs(if any )are bareback it would be a brave or very foolish women to have a gangbang with several men she didn't know without using protection.

In your bed

In responce to the OP.

You can do what you want with other concenting adults either in a club or at home.

If you and they want bareback then go for your lives.

If you and they want to just kiss then go for your lives.

It's about having fun, not worrying about what people think of you.

Funny that, as my partner is Bi and she was told by the GUM clinic while getting a check up, that she was at greater risk of contracting HIV because she had sex with women!!

i doubt STIs are sexist

If you have un protected sex, including oral, you have as much chance of picking something up as the next person

I remember being at a club once and a woman sat telling me how she only plays with black guys because someone had told her they saw on TV a programm that said black guys have less chance of passing on STIs than white men

sad thing was she truely believed this and stopped playing with white guys because of it

We on occassion will play bareback.. although it is normally with trusted playmates...

however.. I am going to actually post my very first experience of chams.. I was with my ex..( it was a dire experiment into swinging if I am honest but that is not what I want to mention)

The thing is.. being my partner.. we didnt use anything with each other.. and other couples avoided us... because we were playing bare together...

Now at the time I wasnt allowed other men anyway... but that was our findings

However, the recent plays we have had.. we have had to tell people to cover up.. so think that 99% of the guys would have gone bare had we been accomadating..

Although I get bad reactions to condoms.. even latex free I have recently found.. I still use them for the majority..

but never for oral..

Just do whats right for you.. and bareback does feel better.. and its your own personal choice.. like Master and I.. you will know the risks.. I for one am checked regular because of other things.. and as yet havent so much as got thrush... but.. funny.. its only since swinging that I have ever bothered with safe sex.

Beware,, we were at Chams one night all playing in the couples room, A couple came in , she bent over and checked he was putting on a condom, he slip in and a few mins., later had trouble with his errection,, Without a word to her he pulled out, whipped off the condom, chucked it away and plunged back in, she totally unaware. OK,, so do you say something? If so what as the circumstances are unknown. If it had been my partner he would have been dead on the spot. Its also not the first time i,ve seen a lady realise shes just been shagged with no protection, and quite a bit of hassel followed.

Jut a thought.... the towels at clubs should have condom pockets..

Ok I am sorry but there is an awful lot of, well, I shall try and be polite, "misinformation" in this post..

Firstly, you can transfer HIV via oral sex (see the Centre for disease control and prevention website (CDC)

There are no confirmed cases of woman to woman transmission because of the quarter of a million "lesbians" with HIV surveyed, 90% all had other risk factors (drug use, prostitution etc.) However as HIV can be transmitted in the vaginal fluid, it is hypothesised that this can and has occurred

"Men propagating the majority of stds?" World health figures suggests that the incidence of females having an sti are 100% higher than a man (2:1), therefore poropogation is twice as likely from a woman than it is a man (remembering that not all STIs are transmitted through just sexual practice)

Regarding the enzyme in saliva killing HIV, given the low level of salt (which HIV needs to transmit), yes theoretically it could "kill" (i.e. not allow a medium of infection) HIV, the study is in its infancy however, and maybe showing false positives (if you pardon the pun), due to an inhospitable environment. This would appear to contradict the "you can get HIV from oral sex" stated above, but other factors (and fluids) need to be taken into account, (bleeding gums, vaginal secretions etc etc.

I apologise if the poster of this thread views this as a personal attack, however, a little bit of knowledge can be a very dangerous thing

......Back to the original post, there are makes of condoms made from other substances other than latex if that is the issue, if not, then it is and always will be your choice and I wouldn't even begin to condemn you (nor should thers) for your right to that choice. But the world has changed, there are so very many "nasties" out there and they are so easily transferable, play safe (for whatever value of safe you enjoy)

I did ask in another forum and I'd like to ask again. Why don't responsible club owners supply free condoms at these swingers clubs. They are available free from the GU clinic and other organisations and I'm sure that they would be more than willing to hand over a bag of condoms when asked. At the very least surely there is a pound for three machine on the premises. Is there a stigma about club owners venue organisers doing a morally and ethically responsible act and getting and making sure that there are a few condoms available. If there are single guys let in the club and no condoms available, I think that the owner/manager has a moral duty to bloody well go and get some. Face it horny single guy, common sense, together at the same time?

Chams have a large selection of FREE condoms available on the bar and also run a FREE sexual health clinic once a month!

Thanks Julie, I've needlessly taken the high ground here, out of ignorance, thanks for the reply. The OP is quite right, a club isn't the place to be going BB in at all, it's an eye opener, certainly for us, that guys do try it on, especially as it's against the wishes of those that they are with.

Have played with a couple at Chams with a partner and when he attempted to penetrate me I had to tell him to put a condom on. At the same time she was ready to mount my partner without him wearing protection!. Needless to say, they won't be regulars meets!

Another 'NASTY' very easily caught AND transmitted, is HPV or Genital Warts. On guys it's usually clealy visible, on ladies not so! It's the primary source/cause of cervical cancer and another reason for protecting yourself! (Stuff others!) My personal preference is to keep bare-back for partners! Simples!
