I'd say I'm more of a sub, but more and more men think that this means I have to do anything they say within the first few messages. Sounds like you've bumped into the all too common variety known as dim dom who have seen some dodgy porn or read that book and think they know all there is to know - wouldn't surprise me if he used a phrase like "you're not a true sub if you won't"

I'm not Dom in any way, in fact quite the opposite when the mood takes me, but sadly there are many who think Dom means giving orders and getting what they want all the time, which couldn't be further from the truth.
