Yes especially at this time of year with Halloween etc. Plus it goes well with most dark winter colours

Totally agree. Once it was a gothic image, now it seems to be popular with women. My gf does french with black and sometimes has the white french. But her toes in black or red turn me on

I like a dark nail polish, including black, but being cack handed I rarely get it on right and if I do it scuffs pretty quickly and looks minging. So I tend to stick to paler colours that are more forgiving.

I dress quite conventionally even traditionally in the autumn/winter so black or other less traditional colours can add a little twist. Black with a red top coat can be nice.
