Hi everyone

I was reading a post on the forum the other day which suggested that sometimes single men lower their standards as the competition for meets can be quite tough.

Just wanted other peoples opinions on this especially from you sexy single guys xx

lowering standards can be taken different ways....and its only others who judge other peoples meets who have the problem, for me its personality,and theres different attraction levels for every one...heyyy im a slut too- but even i can say nothanks lol

I never lower my standards. I know what I want, but am open to suggestions. Some people might lower them if they cant get any meets, but I am in a relationship, so have sex anytime I want anyway.

Some guys on here will fuck anything that moves, which can be a reason why they cant meet.

Thanks Fabio for getting back to the point.

Am glad to hear most people so far wouldn't lower their standards. I'd hate to think I had a meet who thought I was below his usual standard and like to think people meet me because they are attracted to me as a person xx

I dont think its a case of lowering standards.

Its a case of being openminded and not to have a rigid list that excludes everyone but the supermodel type. etc.

Because as we know, there are,nt to many fortunate enough to be in that catagory....

So in accepting that people dont have all the attributes that claudia shiffer has or look like some 6packed stud ....it opens many doors that otherwise would have stayed closed , hence missing lots of possible fun....

I met a guy once who i didnt play with because he really wasnt my type, but i met him a few times at clubs, parties etc after and got to know him quite well and then did end up playing with him

I my self don't have a set type of women it all depends on there look some of the bbw on here have gourgurs faces . Which would make me very excited and other mite not have the face but then have the right body which would also Get me going.

Then moving on I like indoor sex with some people and outdoors with others.

I look for different things in different people. In relation to swinging I may choose guys that I wouldn't be interested in having a relationship with in the real world. I have played with drop dead gorgeous younger men but in reality I wouldn't date them. That's not because I don't think they are worthy or indeed I am not worthy of them, its because I have no desire to form a deep lasting relationship with a younger guy. My OH is 7yrs older than me, I like older guys. To me swinging is about trying something different.

There are men I would never play with, these are loud, uncouth, vulgar men. I have little respect for those type of men so I certainly wouldn't let them anywhere near my body

Pretty much all our meets, had you asked us before, would probably have not been what we'd have thought about contacting - but so glad we met them!!

That's why we like meeting in clubs because there is so much more to a sexual experience and connection than simply looks

For me this was fantasy. My fantasy man had. to have certain attributes and I never deviated from that.

Most people seem to define standards by looks which I personally find amusing. An illiterate waster that just happens to look like Brad Pitt will always be below my standards! I daresay there are people that will sleep with anyone.

I have met some people that I previously wouldn't have considered if you take it on just a physical appearance (My 'type' would be tall, dark haired men if I was choosing an 'ideal') - but their personality has been what hooked me in the first place and then they're attractive as a whole package (not that I'm saying they were fuglies to start with, just not necessarily my standard 'type'!)

In a club I might play with someone that I wouldn't necessarily spend a whole evening with outside of a club - that's usually because of an age/ things in common issue. Standards aren't lowered, but criteria are sometimes different

After a couple of years on fab and meeting single guys now and again for socials I have concluded that men don't care. With the exception of one guy who decided he just couldn't handle meeting couples and I don't meet alone no one has turned us down. The ones we decided against taking things further with that we felt no chemistry with still get in touch again and again to ask even though we made it clear we didn't feel it..they insist they did and it would be great. I know my Master will not lower his standards. Hence we have not had a lady to play with for a while.. and nor do I expect him too..

For me.. well on one to one then no I wont.. and have actually recently raised the bar considerably...

we all have standards everybody starts from looking its the first signal to the brain but swinging attraction is not the same as finding a lifelong partner as with swinging its basically based on having good sex with good people .... i wont lower my standards but as swinging standards its not a small pool of types

so visual first is human nature but by no means is it the green light one look at a profile can kill that with things like ''will do anything with anybody'' or ''looking for a real slag'' it is alot easier in clubs as its more in your face stuff and because of that less question get asked to....

i think its unfair to say all guys will fuck anything the guys i meet certianly dont display that but there are alot who will fuck anything but its not just guys there are women and couples too..

standards / preference / types for me is something to stick to i will never do a symphathy shag you can still stick to what you want on here as a woman and have a shag every single nights because the choice is plentyful ... its a shame there were not a lot more women on here to even the playing fields then there would be a totally differeny look to fab and not only would it be hard for alot of men it would also become alot harder for alot of women ....

Standards for a meet are very different than standards for a girlfriend or partner... For me, a sexually liberated attitude is fucking horny regardless of physical looks or interests outside of the bedroom but I might prefer more for someone I was sharing my life with.

I don't see that as compromising standards, I just see it as having different criteria.

Personally, 'lowering standards' wouldn't work for me as I need to find someone physically attractive to get an erection.

I learned a real lesson years ago when a long term friend of whom I was very fond but who held no physical attraction for me, needed a 'therapeutic fuck'. I tried to oblige, failed and it made matters worse for her.

Quality over quantity is a fab cliche but regardless I stick by it.

For me it doesn't mean the quality of sex because I don't know what that will be like before meeting someone.

It means the quality of person or persons I choose to chat with and possibly meet.

I've never subscribed to the PANDA or AHAG Principles but in 5 years here I've seen lots of women shag people for various reasons including perceived popularity on the site and they need to be tagged with them.

Everyone has their own standards and some are already much higher or lower than others.

Personally, I don't think it's a competition. It's about finding someone you fancy, genuinely, to spend nice time. Lowering my standards would mean, for me, trying to score with someone I don't feel attracted to.
