We hold party's for friends and would not dream of asking for payment. Would never consider going to a party that was asking for one either

We hold parties out of our own decisions,wouldn't dream of charging for them in our house at all

Maybe bring a bottle or the likes, but why charge? A few nibbles don't cost the earth and can't really see what other over heads you would have.

When we thrown parties we ask a hugh price tag. Bring Smile share at least that after which you should not have any other commitment other than enjoy yourselves.

It will depend on whether the party is a private, domestic one or a specially organised one with a venue etc.

There's a difference between a private party and an event party. Wouldn't be happy paying for a private party but would happily donate nibbles or drinks
