Squeaky clean?

Fabbers, I'm often surprised that men list 'clean' as one of their key attributes in profiles. Like, surely, most women I'd assume cleanliness went without saying when meeting someone for sex. I was caught out once, but I NEVER ask someone about their personal hygiene. Do you feel the need to? Do men really need to confirm that they are able to wash on their profiles?

Never met anyone who was less than sparkly clean. I'd never list it as a requirement either but I think sometimes they say clean when they mean no STI.

i think it applies to both men and women.

last minute short notice meets for example , i think people tend to just jump in the car and head off,

or likewise if a members having guests round or its an evening meet becaue they showered that morning perhaps thats the norm.

for me personally i would not meet without being squeeky clean, after all it dosent take long to hop in the shower , wash , and put clean clothes on ...

For those men that do state they are clean it's probably as an attempt to tick a box for the amount of people that specifically say - must be clean like we are on their profile..

Of which there are a lot..

We can only therefore assume that some people are incapable of washing and those that specify someone must be has met someone who wasn't!

Ohhhh! Hadn't even occurred to me..

But then I wouldn't ask someone if they had an STI unless something specific led me to be suspicious. And if they had AND were meeting, I'm guessing they wouldn't be honest.

Last minute booty call - would still expect you to be sparkly clean. It takes me 7 mins to shower and wash hair. I can wait that long for sex...

Need at least an Hour to do make up, shave stuff and struggle into ridiculous lingerie mind..

Washing each other pre sex, is sexy and guarantees mutual hygiene...

Hmmm. If I need to take that precaution I think I'm meeting the wrong people..

So does this mean after you've (as in anyone) been out for the night had a great night. Come home feeling frisky you have to shower first? No. If you've been to the gym or work. Yes.

I am quite amazed sometimes when I have visited some clubs to come across bad BO even in the social areas ... and have to say even when in a group play area having the awful stench of a ‘fishy’ fanny waft up my nose

I don’t understand bad hygiene at all but seriously going to a swingers club where potentially you might play ??? Yuk !!

So yes if I read great hygiene it ticks a box for me

Going to a club and not showering is a big no no.

I like it when men say they are clean and smell nice, one of the most important things to me.Some men dont wash properly, though most do. Could also be that they had traveled a long way too which didnt help.

If fishy fanny = BV, this could be a sign of being overly clean. It certainly isn't a hygiene indicator.

I had a meet a few years ago who booked into a hotel. Stated he was going to shower.

After dining we went back to his room. I smelled his hair/head. It wasn't fresh. Although i couldn't smell BO, it certainly meant no bj, nor a sleepover .
