If a message you had sent had turned someone off, would you prefer to be told why or ignored?

Yes, polite feedback is a way to learn from your own experiences and improve for the future.

Feedback is always good but rarely provided - not a whinge I do accept it's impossible to reply to all and no one should be compelled to.

Always find it hard to gauge the right tone when profiles ask for mails telling them what I'd like to do to them. Nothing too weird (honest!) but hard to know how dirty to make it

Hiding in the shadows

When I receive a particularly obscene first message, it completely turns me off.

My standard response is, Thanks but no thanks. Followed by block & delete.

I think a demonstration you can be respectful, construct a sentence and take a decent picture is a better way to start. Things can get more interesting when you clearly understand what the other is after

We have tried in the past. However we are not sure it's appreciated!

"We have tried in the past. However we are not sure it's appreciated!"

This is how we feel. If a first message is either

a) directed at only one of us

b) needlessly obscene eg. I'd love to cum all over your face

c) completely nonsensical, and difficult to understand.

d) all of the above

We try to point it out and tell these people that they might struggle with that attitude. Often we find they try to defend their attitude by saying (oh it's just because of X,Y and Z or whatever, but we don't follow up. We just hope they do better with the next lot.

"If a message you had sent had turned someone off, would you prefer to be told why or ignored?"

Told why. Two reasons. One it may have come across to the recipient in a different way than intended. Two to learn from if I was being a knob.

Generally not. If it's that shit a message, I cant be bothered giving the time, that would most likely be ignored.

If it's a message like 'I want to fuck you senseless' then I might feedback, 'Cheers mate, but I'm straight' .

Sometimes I have fun with guys who do this too. When they say "you're gorgeous", I have a similar response.

It's fun and feedback. If they just talk at the female half, it's unlikely they would get the dynamic for an mmf.

If they can't be arsed to make an effort why should I? But most who send crap messages don't send photos and it clearly states in my profile that I don't respond to those types of messages so, no, no feedback from and risk of abuse back for me

Ignored. I don't presume what works for one person will work for the next. Just because I may find it a turn off, doesn't mean to say the next woman would.

I’ve told people if I think their message is rude in anyway.

Some think that being on here that people like to get rude, explicit messages.

They are nearly always apologetic and are then polite in return

"If a message you had sent had turned someone off, would you prefer to be told why or ignored?"

we don't provide feedback on messages that don't interest us for any reason...why would we enter into dialogue with people we're not interested in either because of their profile or their message? surely that's the ultimate definition in wasting your own time...

we're not here to provide a service...just delete and move on...

of course, our messages are so perfect that we'd never need that kind of help...

We wouldn't provide feedback on a message although we're happy to if people ask in the forum.

The way we look at it is if someone doesn't ask for advice who are we to presume they want it.

This is exactly why we struggle with when to say why WE don't like something, as invariably you'll get someone that will. A more cuck couple might enjoy having the male half be ignored and such, and some girls want to feel like nothing but sex objects.

When we do say, it's usually because we've tried to mention in the profile what we're looking for.

"If a message you had sent had turned someone off, would you prefer to be told why or ignored?"

If someone deletes our message or doesn't reply that says they aren't interested.

We don't need or really want to know why.

Same, as we wouldn't give feedback to others on a message/ why we aren't interested. It's unlikely in most cases to go down well.

"If a message you had sent had turned someone off, would you prefer to be told why or ignored?"

We have often replied saying "Wrong approach" when we get a fronty message.
