Saying no politely

Ok so before we offend anyone we have met this is in response to a scenario we were discussing the other night whilst admiring other couples in a club.

How do you politely say no to someone you have played with that obviously wants to play with you again when you don’t....?

Say if you get along great but the play was just not as good as you expected

(A) be kind....tell them you're tired/have a headache etc.

(B) be honest....tell them they're a shit shag!

We presume it wouldn’t be easy having this conversation in a club environment so we were thinking along these lines that way we would keep a friendship hopefully anyway

Probably the best way forward, that way you're not left feeling guilty if you go with someone else.

we just always make excuses... or if they get really make a fuss then we tell them we dont really do repeat meets x

Be honest to at least the extent that you don't wish to play with them on that night. Perhaps by saying you are looking for a new experience that night, or don't play multiple times with the same person (even if not strictly true).

Otherwise they will probably try time and time again.

Think about how you would like some one to tell you? It's never an easy conversation but it's certainly better to be honest

BUT it always seems better to be given a reason, even if it's not (exactly) true. Otherwise you assume it is your fault they turned you down.
