Many people it seems, are ok with meeting at someones home or yours (you have may been conversing but not met)

I refuse to do it unless met before a few times and i trust them as my safety is important and if anyone who doesn't get that i wont meet,

whats your stance on this?

That's a sensible approach. Personally I prefer to meet socially first, coffee & chat. However, have met by going straight to their house, and although the meets have been ok, have thought in hindsight that I was a muppet for doing so. Ultimately we're all responsible for our own safety & each must do what they need to, if it makes them feel safer

Safety has to come first regardless of who you are. We meet socially first, usally in a bar and have a chat and a drink whilst we get to know each other and see if their is any chemistry between us.

I never go to someone's house and there's no chance they'd come to mine. If they don't like that tough, I won't meet them.

I'm happy to invite someone to mine but I would have to meet socially. Or at the very least talk on the phone and get to know each other in a verbal way. It's never safe and easy to get things wrong but I'm quite a good judge of character

I have no issues inviting people to mine or going to someones house when ready as I never do hotels.

So far I've been right or maybe lucky

If I over thought meeting people on here then I wouldn't meet anyone!

I agree with this. I do always let someone know where I'll be though.

even as a man I like a social chat first make sure that they are who they say and also that we engage with each other as for a lady it's a no brainer even when I can accommodate I ask to m meet them somewhere else first

Clubs are safest in that respect and you get a 'protection' against no-shows and timewasters as there is often PlanB's around, or just socialising if not.

Home meets at eithers can be a safety issue and could turn sour even with someone you thought you knew.

Keep safe, have fun xx

Hiding in the shadows

Always chat on here, then a social.

Yes I'd go to soneones house, if I felt comfortable after that.

My best friend always knows where I'm going, she can track my phone too.

I rarely accommodate though due to unpredictable teenagers who appear without warning.

In fact I've only ever had 2 people to my house, one of which already I knew but met through here.

Totally the same. Remember they are strangers, no need to put yourself at risk just for a shag!

You Dont Need to Know, right now

I've invited strange men to my house without a social 3 times. Twice it was late at night, and I was feeling horny. The other time, we'd been chatting online for months, when he called to say he'd travelled "Up North" from Oxford on business, and could be with me in 30 mins (he arrived 2.5 hours later, and admitted he thought Manchester was half-an-hour from Nottingham!).

All 3 times worked out fine, but I knew every time that I was taking a risk, so I gave up meeting at home, without a social in a public place first. It was a bit like when I used to ride a motorbike. I 'got away with it' for about 5 years, but then I gave up, thinking that my luck would run out soon, and I would be killed or seriously injured in an accident.

So now I never meet without a social first in a pub or coffee bar - and I never ride a motorbike!

We prefer club meets as we can then keep swinging and personal life separate.

We learned this the hard way mind. With a guy who had been invited to the house.

Just be warned, you can't make them forget where you live. And when a guy starts sending photos of knives and guns saying he was driving past your house and had these in his car...

It's also why we don't use snap chat, kik or WhatsApp.

Communication comes through the site. That way it can be reported if necessary and also stops incessant messaging once they have the ability to contact you of site. Sometimes these apps make communication too easy.

Northampton Somewhere

I never meet at mine for different reasons. I've been to guys houses after checking them out previously over coffee. But at the end of the day it is very risky, anything could happen.

On my way out of a chaps house I noticed he had a collection of medieval type weapons displayed in his hallway. There was a mace as well

I never went back!!

Much prefer covering the cost of a hotel. Safe for both parties, you never know who you're meeting

I've never arranged a meet at my home as I won't consider it unless it's with someone I've met several times and consider a close friend.

I prefer a social and a hotel room if it gets that far.

I have my daughter at home regularly, so I just put my profile as cannot accommodate as to avoid confusion, but this seems to give the impression that I'm either married and/or cheating.

Rock...me...hardplace!

Always a social in a public place first for me, if they don't want that, then they clearly have no regard for safety, mine or theirs.

Wish I had a friend I could trust like that.

I suppose it's different for men though.

As a woman,I think the friend knowing where you are is an excellent idea.
