Does anyone else lose the will to meet when it's been a while since your last rendezvous?

I'm feeling like I've fallen off the horse and I'm struggling to get back on it, metaphorically speaking of course!

You don't have to meet, contrary to what most people seem to think.

I had sex just over a month ago but before that it had been over a year since I last had sex. It's not so much the forgetting what to do it's the desire to do it. Off the back of that shag I could easily have shagged the next week but I'm back to that can't be arsed to shave my fanny, back or feet stage again now.

Apart from a couple of socials where I've had a peck on the cheek and/or a hug, I've not got on the horse for about 3 years (maybe longer). I genuinely have forgotten the last time as it's been so long ago.

I think I've actually got to the stage where I plan and do so much I unintentionally make sure I don't have time to do anything!

I really need to get out more

Yes. It's much easier not to meet sometimes. The less I meet the less I want to. There usually comes a time when I'm up for it again though so I don't feel the need to force myself back into it. I thought that was fairly normal though? I think I'd burn myself out if I met too often.

I actually do enjoy meeting someone and love a good drink and a chat for a couple of hours.

I would like to get back on the horse too, just I seem to have lost my sense of noticing the signals!

I'm. Basically a virgin again!

I love meeting people too, just the trawling through profiles and messaging to try and get a feel for the person (gotta be safe)and if you're attracted enough to then coordinating diaries etc, just getting a bit boring.. To then be blown out!

Ive spoke to a couple of guys I'd like to meet but I've had to explain I'm not in the right mood for it, I don't want to waste anyone's time either.

I haven't met anyone new for sex for ages. A couple of socials that went no further because they didn't 'do it' for me.

It's all time consuming, I cba at the moment either!

I've been quite lucky and every meet I've planned has turned up and been very nice, chatty and nothing but polite.

Only one stands out as a bit odd but that's a whole other story and she's UNLOS.

I've always said I'd never not turn up for an arranged meet.its just so rude imo. I'd not like it done to me so would never do it to someone.

My only problem as a single guy is getting a reply from some of the lovely ladies on here but,I'm not alone there!

There’s lots of reasons people don’t meet so it’s not unusual to go for long periods of time without playing. Maybe go along to a social.
