Hello everyone,

The thread title was difficult to convey what i wanted to know, but here it is anyway.

Have you ever swung without a pre arranged meet set up, or at a non swinging club or event?

Yes...before the interweb this was how all our play happened...gay bars ,and straight u learn to spot signals.

People have been swinging since cave man grabbed cave girl by the hair...dont be fooled into believing its anything new

I should elaborate a bit more, and you eluded to it in your answer, but what we're the signals? Or did it ever just become very blunt?

And did the fact you we're reliant on signals lead to any embarassing misunderstandings?

We tended to pick up bi men for mmf so it was quite easy,we found the "gay" man who perved my tits

As for signals...its just like a nilla pick up...

We met a couple on holiday several years ago who we got on with and after a few nights out together the guy asked out of the blue "are you two swingers?"

We didnt get back to our appartment that night till about 4 am!!

They remain great friends and they are active members of this site.

Yes this has happened more than once both to me on my own, and when I've been out with my husband. One time, we ended up in the mayors hot tub for some fun after a charity dinner! I suppose it's just like being pulled really !! Also, another time, we'd been out again and had been invited back to a couples house and being pretty rat arsed, the conversation got round to favourite sex positions. Once the conversation turned to sex that was it! We're still good friends with that couple and were all cool about it the next day. I suppose by the time you're in your 40's you've been round the block a few times and if you're sociable and gregarious, situations just occur sometimes without planning them.

Yes, we've had a few 4somes with people we've met on holidays over the years. Usually alcohol has loosened our tongues and inhibitions and the words 'Do you swing? We do!" has worked. We've also said it and had frosty responses, however!
