Funniest I have said and it worked as he laughed and it broke the ice .I walked over to a man who kept Looking over at me and I whispered in his eye hi how ya hanging and he replied too the left and check if you like .we dated for 5 years

My friends and I were in a bar at a table and group of men sent bottle of wine for us .That worked as we asked them to join us and had a laugh .Was rather dangerous group of fireman with 6 nurses

I would wait till you were ordering a drink, smile and buy the drink for you and introduce myself or alternatively check with the bar person what you were drinking and send a second drink across to you via the bar person (with or without a note), if you mouthed thank you, I would come over an introduce myself...maybe...

Once was bought a drink by a complete stranger (women) who said I looked like someone famous (which I don't) but I was so genuinely flattered..
