What is the point in the first place?

As a single guy on here you get used to mailing women and getting no reply. Fair enough! You ladies are inundated with guys messages, I understand that.

What I really do not understand is when someone winks at you or sends you a message and then when you reply they block you! It's not only annoying, but really stupid.

If you have made first contact with someone after clearly having looked at their profile, then why behave like they are hassling you when they reply?

i reply to people who can write a message without using the aid of text speak.

who has a well worded profile and maybe an photo or 2

most of the winks i get are from people who are new to the site and not verified or out my age bracket who think that i will crah my criteria just for them,

sometimes it takes a message or 2 to make you decide if the person is for you or not

Ok. I understand if you block a person who has contacted you with a wink or a poor message.

However, if I recieve a wink and then politely reply to the person then why block me! All I have done is have the common courtesy to reciprocate the interest shown!

Maybe they messaged you and didn't like the content of your reply message?

Or Maybe they winked at you and never liked the message you sent them?

Or maybe they winked at you by mistake?

At the end of the day it is their decision to block you, no point beating yourself up about it or trying to work out their reasons.

Maybe they didn't like your message or attached pic. Maybe they know you or may have winked by accident. Maybe if a couple, one winked and the other blocked. The point is you will never know but have been saved time as they aren't interested. Just laugh and forget. Don't take blocking personally. Some peeps block almost everyone. Lol

Perhaps they winked at you by mistake, and out of embarrassment, they blocked you to prevent further contact?

Some sound advice I think. I probably wouldn't have even started this thread had it not been fr rubbish weather and nothing to do. As they say the devil makes work for idle hands

I try and reply to the messages I receive but when you say no they get abusive . I was told I shouldnt be here this morning because I dont want to meet . think if FAB take my money they surely dont mind that I want to chat or read forums. .. They also think they have a right to view pics. Telling me I should accept the friendship request. then blocked me.

Well there's another example of ridiculous behaviour. It is becoming quite apparent from reading these posts, that just as in all walks of life, there are many people not worth worrying about on here!

I total agree, don't even try to think why. The main thing I hate is all going well then "not sure Iv got to much stuff in my head at the moment"

The body is saying yes but the brain can't cope with it. Lol

to be fair, there have been a few occasions when I was browsing the site on my phone and due to have short stubby fingers, I inadvertently send a wink or a friend invite when I all I really wanted to do was add someone to my hotlist
