'Outdoor fun' locations

I wondered whether there was somewhere either on another site or perhaps even on here where people put places they know are good for fun outdoors.

I certainly don't mean dogging sites.

I mean recommendations of quiet country lanes, hidden corners of the countryside etc etc

I'm in the Ribble Valley in Lancs and so there must be loads of places around here.

And advice would be gratefully received!
