Why is it that people get so rude and aggressive when you turn them down?

In the middle of a heated discussion with a male because we said we weren't meeting (states this in the profile but he hadn't read it).

Now accused me of being retarded, carrying someone elses baby and being ugly.

What the actual fuck!?!?!

Seems a lot of guys on here lately seem to think it's insta-shag and get the hump when it turns out they're not going to get laid on their demand.

Because they think we're on here and a easy shag for them. When they realise that isn't the case they can't handle it. We just block and move on now don't waste the time on the muppets lol

He said nice pics, I said thanks, he send can we meet, I said no we're not currently meeting, he asked if I'd like, I said no and it states in the profile we don't use Kik. I then told him I was pregnant (also in the profile). He then said he wanted to be friends. I said we're not interested, he then said I needed more self respect being on here pregnant

It's unfortunate that you've experienced this kind of negative attitude on here, but sadly, it happens.

Following a few nasty experiences with men not taking polite rejection very well, I tend to send a 'thanks for your message, but you're not for us, all the best' and then block as a matter of course now. If we're not interested in meeting someone, nothing is lost by blocking them, and it quite possibly saves us from experiencing some of the not so nice types.

So sad that's what you resorted too though isn't it. We're relatively new online and have only really experienced clubs and parties and people there are always so laid back. Guess I was neive to think that translated to online...

Although on a whole, the experience on this site has been hugely positive xx

I do the same. It's just not worth being made to feel crap for not sympathy shagging every guy who shows interest. Plus it stops the ones with short memories from messaging again. Blocking is a very helpful tool for making this site more pleasant to be on, never feel guilty for using it
