derbyshire or localish

we have been swinging/dogging for the last ten years or so,,we found over the last 4/5 years dogging seems to have declined rapidly due to boyracers, police turning up and more so single guys being very pushy and rude..

we go to a few places we know localish to us and find a lot of guys who turn up just sit around in the car just staring, then theres others who think your not looking and sneak around,,why??

we are very approachable and like people to come say hello, not sneak around or just sit staring,,very off putting.we think gone are the good old days when out dogging everyone was friendly and not pushy,,,times change....

your thoughts....mr & mrs gen.xx

A lot of people just dont have good manners anymore, not as much as they used too. Well you have certainly put me off that idea, not much good if you have a weak bladder anyway.

A lot of the problems these days have come with dogging being more well known , especially by the moral moronity & the NIMBY mobs, thanks to indiscreet idiots who make it sooo damn obvious that they are having al fresco sex, often where they can be discovered by people who just dont want to see it. And Stan Collymore

Thus the attention of the cops. And boy racers who love to just wind people up.

And perhaps the risk of violence or being reported. To the OP, sometimes people need to KNOW a couple is approachable..it can be hard without a definitive signal. Only the other day I was at a dogging spot,a couple turned up & walked into the woods. Now I could have followed them but I was not 200% certain they wanted that. I might have seen them having fun,or they might have objected in no uncertain terms to my presence...they didnt say or do anything to indicate that they were up to anythng so I stayed in my car. As it turned out they came back & then started to play in their car & were happy for me to watch..so it was all good lol

So it can be hard somtimes for single guys to know what to do...too pushy & they piss off the people they are there to chat to & watch, too laid back & no one has any fun! Sadly the pushy types seem to predominate.

The nail in the coffin of Dogging will probably be the increased anti social behaviour powers that the Polioe will shortly be getting. Then they will be able to move you along if they 'suspect' you will be behaving in an anti social manner.

As for the decline in dogging I actually think it's getting better in my area. I've been dogging over 10 years as a single male and a couple and doggers have definitely got more polite.

Years ago the old guys used to stand around in groups, being very vocal about who they have fucked and their experiences (which put my ex wife off dogging for life) Comments like; 'why don't they just get on with it?' and 'If they aren't going to do anything why don't they just fuck off and stop wasting our time' pissed us both off but her more than me.

Never mind that the last thing my ex wife wanted to do, was let a group of loud mouthed, obnoxious, fat and old coffin dodgers touching her.

Godowneasy makes a very good point about people not knowing the dogging rules. So many single guys just sit around watching, either expecting a sign to come join in, or to say it's ok to watch. But what universal dogging sign is there to say this to them? How do you let someone know if you want them to follow you into the woods to watch? How do you let them know that you want them to touch you, or you them? How do you let them know that you only want them to watch you, or you watch them?? That's why so many people just sit around. They're all hoping for a sign! I suppose you have to take it as given that they know that they've turned up at a dogging site, so at least if they see stuff, they can't protend to be offended. I think there should be some universal rules, maybe like a type of sign language, then everyone knows where they stand and nothing will be down to chance. Otherwise, as the poster has said, too many peeps get out there and spoil it for the rest of us.

Just a thought

Every dog has his day.

Though its something i've not partaked in, so cant comment on the decline. Though all the points mentioned above seem like valid reasons why it is dying off

We have been "dogging" years.

The press, media and cash greedy internet sites labeled it as dogging just to expose , exploit, mislead and mis-educate the curious masses.

The locations have been plastered everywhere and this ruined the once quiet lovers lanes and areas that were used for consenting adults, mainly at night and away from the public.

There is a different breed of "doggers" now that pre-arrange their outdoor meets or advertise times, dates and locations, then moan when they get hassled by the undesireables that turn up, not to mention our boys in blue putting in an appearance.

Gone are the days of a couple secretly displaying their fun and games to a discrete voyeur or two.

R.I.P Dogging!!

It's like everything else, times change, people change and eventually "it" fizzles out until the new generation find a new/different way to persue the lifestyle.

It's the boy racers that are the new generation as funny as it sounds.

We have seen them out with their mates "bigging it up" then at a later date we have seen them sneak back on their own and with girlfriends to have a dabble, so who knows... maybe it's not dying, just changing.

The old school ways are definitely fading, but "it doesn't matter what colour the cat is, as long as it catches the mice!" lol

Is the 'parked car with window open and brake light on' signal an urban myth then ?

Failing that, could use a neon arrow, LOL.

Sorry, I know this is a serious debate.

That is 'exactly' what I said to my girlfriend ages ago. They know what happens down there and I would put money on that they were will be the ones caring the dogging torch into the future.

How odd. I would have expected to find all the best of human nature displayed in carparks at night....

We have wanted to go dogging for a wile now and we have been invited a couple of times and as many people have said on arrival we have had boy racers or the old bill there.

Little did we know that some of the police do indulge in dogging on dutie??????????? (don't know id i could keep a straight face if one did knock on our window)

Both my self and my wife want to try dogging and generally sex outside or in the car but it just seems that it is very difficult to do so now without being interrupted by the boy racers or without being arrested.

" I think there should be some universal rules, maybe like a type of sign language, then everyone knows where they stand and nothing will be down to chance. "

The problem withthat is once it becomes common knowledge(and lets face it trying to get ONE thing agreed on something that might be on the fringes of the lw will be next to impossible!) then the boy racers & tossers will just abuse it.

I guess we will have to carry on with our random fumblings & pre-arranged meets till some enlightened council or landowner sets up a purpose built car park for it(1st thing I will do when I win the lottery LOL)

Till then..carry on dogging,it isnt as risky as people make out usually, honest.Lets get some action in before the winter
