My last vanilla relationship lasted 2 years and we split up 5 years ago. We still whatsapp often and meet for coffee from time to time.

I'm still really good mates with my first BF, Who I went out with 31yrs ago.

In fact apart from my ex husband & last partner,in still on speaking terms with everyone!

Nope I hate my ex wife.

She tried to take every single penny from the equity in our joint marital home and used our son as a weapon to try and get what she wanted by stopping me from seeing him.

My best mate is a former fwb.

We were seeing each other regularly for a year before we decided to be just friends. The sex was great but the friendship was more important to both of us.

We both love each other to bits and would do anything for the other but we don't want anything more than the friendship.

I - Tom - get on great with the ex, chat and text regularly - occasional coffee - dinner etc. Have played too - it was fantastic - but not for a while...we both know we would never be together again though, and happy with that.

Interesting there's not many replies from couples !!

Okay no comment from me, but I know of a situation where a divorced couple got on. They were apart and both single for about ten years. He then met someone and the whole thing turned to shit. Can't live with you, but no one else can have you either and a similar reaction from the two grown up children.

I don't think its odd.I prefer to remain on polite terms.Exes are exes for a reason.

I'm best friends with the mother of my children and we get on great and raise our family.

It's partly the reason why I'm on Fab as I don't want another committed relationship, as I'll always put my family first.

lol I wonder how many of us did exactly the same thing, i.e. Joined fab because we only wanted NSA. It was all going swimmingly well and then about 11months 3 weeks ago a certain gentleman messaged me
