no need to feel bad as there has been no contact between you.for all you know they had no interest in meeting you anyway.blocking is just a good way of not wasting people's time.

We block for a variety of reasons, often it's not about rudeness, like some people said already if they're clearly not interested or don't share interests blocking is a good way to not waste our and their time.

We also leave a small note too so we remember why we blocked, just because it could be awkward meeting at a social or party and then realise you get along with a person and BAM! They're on your block list.

If I read a profile that states thinks such as "BBC only" or "No married men" I tend to block them out of respect in the fact I do not meet their preferences.

I use the block function when I fee it's needed. If there's something on their profile like they only play with BBC then it's silly me having the option of their profile available as I'm not their type

Allows me time to view profiles and send messages to those who I feel I might have a connection with

If someone winks me and clearly states they only play bareback - pretty much a block straight away

If it is a bi male on own that fabs 20 of photos then block

If it is a lady or says fancy a fuck or words to that effect in just a few lines then block

I block all single guys because it stops guys messaging me

I would say about 50 on list - but out of those 3 or 4 single ladies, about 7 or so couples rest guys or TVs

We've blocked profiles where we don't meet the criteria for example if they want slim not above a size 10 women or don't like tattoos. It's nothing they've done it just means that they don't keep coming up in local searches!

We block for a whole host of reasons but generally it's just about saving us time. Our block list is quite big but it really is just an additional filter.

We have always been pragmatic enough to realise that we are not to everyone's taste or criteria either so are never upset at being blocked.

Just makes sense with the 1,000's of profiles on fab.

I appreciate the block button and am thankfull it there,

Our list grows everyday but not without good reason, 3 words msgs, you know the ones, those that carnt read, those are pushy or tine wasters, you know the types oh and not to forget the fakes..

Do I feel guilty... no way.. we play for our fun and want others to enjoy our fun with us, play by the rules and respect boundaries..

If not...BLOCKED. no hard feelings..

Do I feel bad about it... nope..cos most are single guys who make no effort...

May seem harsh but have to be on here...

As in if you like the look of a profile but clear see you do not fall within what they have stated in BOLD, then you quietly block; 1. In protest, 2. To save you the temptation of messaging them in the future, 3. To just save time for all parties.

I've blocked several for various amounts of abuse after I politely declined. typically it seems to be those who feel they are something special and I should be honoured by a message from them.

Well, it is Thursday rant day

Hiding in the shadows

My block list is huge, for a variety of reasons.

Received messages - Clearly not read my profile. Rude messages. Friend requests, again not read my profile.

Have viewed me, several times, not my preference, so just avoids any attempt at contact.

And then the ones that just go silent after countless messages, asking to meet

"I only block if they give me reason to.

Snap!

There were a few I had to block because of extreme reasons, but some were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just clueless followers... they decided to listen to lies just because a 'duo' tag team and their band were trying to make me look bad

Since then people realised and have tried to contact me through various methods. Cheeky lot but I just ignore.

Having said that...

I am going to do something different! Unblock 2/3 profiles. Because I know we have things in common.

This is very rare for me to lower my guard and filters...

Oh gawd...

Will do it tonight!

We block a lot now. Didn't used to but found we kept contacting the same people, who caught our eye only to remember why we didn't take it further!

If it's someone we're not interested in we block to prevent wasting time.

I block a fair amount, usually for reasons others have stated above... if it's obvious from their profile that I'm not what they're looking for, I block.

But I also block anyone that messages me with "wot you into?"... in my experience, they're just after a wank.

Any message that contains the word 'gosh' gets an instablock, as it is only ever used by inexperienced men pretending to be women.

Profiles with no verifications in over a year get instablocked too, oh and TV's as it's just not our thing.

We never feel bad about it.

I've been blocked by people I've never spoken to, it is what it is. But equally when I see "No Black Guys" on a profile I instantly block the profile. Clearly I'm not what they're looking for so I have no need to see their profile or posts and they don't need to see mine.

Maybe I've been lucky. I have never had abuse aimed at me here...with the exception of one guy with a sectarian problem who threatened to send the boys round.

When I hinted I had a piece of 4x2 waiting he went very quiet.

But yeah I do understand why some do and if it helps protect people here from the idiots I'm not against it...just never felt the need.
