Same reason as anyone I guess OP - personal preference

I've kept mine shaven for a couple of years now - currently letting it grow back for a while because the mood took me to do so, but may well shave again after a while if my mood changes.

It's makes it look cleaner and feel cleaner I think always kept mine shaved
