I've realised that the order of the letters makes a difference when talking about threesomes but I can't figure out how.

So who does what in FFM, FMF, MMF, MFM?

I'm confused!

I always thought its in relation to whether its a bi 3 sum or not so a mmf is and mfm isn't

Somewhere / Everywhere /Kinksville

It does to some. But we still use the terms mmf and mfm to be the same. It's always going to be a bi meet for us.

Ok thanks - so if two Ms or two Fs are next to each other, it implies those two have sex too. If those letters are separated it suggests not?

Thanks

Two males, one female has been known as MMF since Moses was a lad. Note I didnt say a man, a woman and another man.

Likewise FFM

You can't catch the ghey from having an MMF*

*Unless it's a Bi MMF then you'll be shopping for soft furnishings by half past two on Wednesday

Maybe there isn't a difference then. I gues it only works as a distinction if people know about it!

Some people mix up the letters to emphasise the threesome as straight or bi. I just stick to MMF or FFM.

That's how I understand it

MFM the men interact with the woman only

MMF emphasis on the men playing together etc

Wow, that's potentially big difference... Thanks for the heads up...

The order of the letters is NOT a universally used thing. People often claim mmf is 2 bi men and mfm is 2 straight men. But most people don't actually use it that way.

As has been said in other threads, you don't say mmff, if the men are bi. Also, in a larger group, say mmmf, you can't spilt the 'm's.

Assuming people mean bi men when they say mmf, won't end well. You will either avoid something or try something incorrectly....

Can we not hit this one directly on the head once and for all! There is NO difference. If there was how would you write a totally straight MMMMF, of which I have many? If the guys or girls playing bi or straight depended entirely upon the nuances of how you happen to order the letters there would be many unhappy swingers out there. We make it perfectly clear in conversation that we expect the guys play straight but are happy for the girls to play bi.

Great points. I hadn't considered the moresum aspects. I guess it's down to the conversation you have when discussing it.

Thanks

The main difference is that it's fractionally quicker to type MMF than MFM
