Review of fun4two from our book its an absolutely must...
Club Review: Probably the most famous Adult Swingers club in the world. The pictures on their web site do not even begin to do it justice - this is, hands down, the most plush, extravagantly decorated club we have ever seen. (Almost everyone on the review team has been here) You cannot just turn up at Fun4two, you must contact the club ahead of the week you plan to visit and apply for temporary membership for your first visit. Located on the outskirts of the town of Gouda (pronounced ‘Howda’) the venue is a short drive from Rotterdam or approximately 2 hours by train from Amsterdam. The club itself is in a converted farmhouse with its own private grounds. Once your booking has been confirmed you will be given temporary membership. The club also has a cottage and apartment on the grounds for rent, but be warned these do not come cheap and they are often booked up months ahead. Whichever night you go the club will be incredibly busy but it is strictly couples only except for the occasional special event. The club itself is vast. Set in beautiful gardens with enough parking for well over a hundred cars the club has an open air swimming pool located outside that is used in the summer months. Inside the main entrance is a small reception and spiral staircase that leads up to the lockers and changing areas located on the first floor. Several more lockers are also located on the ground floor. The changing areas also have their own showers and toilets. Dealing with the ground floor first, from the reception a door also leads to the nightclub and dance floor which is the heart of the club. The club employs DJ’s every night and the music is excellent. Off to one side between the restaurant and the dance area is another spiral staircase leading to the first floor. There is also a self contained room for smokers near the dance floor and both male and female toilets. The restaurant overlooking the dance floor is self serving, but do not think motorway service station here. The food, which is constantly fresh and replenished throughout the evening, is first class, on par with anything you would expect to find at a decent venue on the high street. Juicy steaks, kebabs, chicken breasts are all there for you to cook on the hot plate, which is continuously cleaned throughout the night. There is also a large selection of fresh vegetables, fruits and deserts. The menu is not restricted to meat and other dishes are on hand so there is no chance of vegetarians feeling short changed here. There is plenty of seating but you would be advised to get there early if you wish to eat. On the upper level there are over thirty play spaces which include a miniature set of the Red Light District with a play area behind every door, a bi room, an orgy loft, and numerous themed rooms. The sauna complex at Fun4two is almost the same size as another club on its own; it is connected to the main club by a beautiful walkway. The upper changing area (With plenty of towels) affords a birds eye view of the star shaped Jacuzzi and fountain below. Opposite the Jacuzzi are steps leading to a raised bar (not in use on our visit) and a plush decorated play area. We would imagine this is perhaps used as a private area for special occasions and the second bar is opened on the nights when the club is especially busy, such as New Year and so on. Behind the Jacuzzi is a large sauna with plenty of seating, there is also a steam room another set of showers and a corridor which leads to the tantric room passing more showers and a toilet en route. The tantric room is a beautifully laid out play area consisting of a number of beds curtained from each other set in a peaceful quite part of the club that makes for a sensual and slow play space. We visited the club on both a Saturday evening and a Sunday afternoon. The Sunday had more of a chilled vibe and a slightly older crowd but on both occasions the club was packed with hundreds of attractive couples aged anywhere from 21 to 60. People make a real effort here and dress to impress and it is nice to see such a code rigidly enforced, it makes a real difference to the night. People are friendly though you will find people here from all over the world and almost everyone speaks English. The club was very clean, and the staff helpful if a little overworked! We really can’t fault this club except to say if anything it is probably a victim of its own success. It is possible to have a conversation with another couple here and then not see them again for the rest of the evening. Some people may find it simply too busy and often finding a playroom that is vacant can become problematic but the club is popular and busy for a reason and that is because it simply raises the standard bar on any other club in the world setting the bar for others to follow. Fun4two is the only venue in our book to get a six star rating, which simply put means; it’s out of this world.
