I am chuckling to myself.

When I got married to my ex wife, we went on holiday to the U S for our honeymoon.

I decided to put a vibrator in my suitcase for a little bit of extra fun.

Needless to say as I went through customs in LA Airport, the x-ray machine picked up something, so I had to go to the desk whilst the customs officer searched my case.

When he found the vibrator, I just smiled and winked, telling him I was on honeymoon. Then I was on my way.

I don't think it is illegal to take them abroad. But be prepared for them to be found and maybe a few embarrassed moments.

And don't try to smuggle one in your vagina.. he he xxx

Some countries do have bans on sex toys and if they for some reason choose to search your luggage may confiscate them. As some of the counties are not the most obvious ones it is probably worth doing a bit of a google search on the rules in your intended destination. For example I am lead to understand that technically sex toys are illegal in Thailand, even though they are being openly sold all over the country.

Cheshire East

About 6 years ago when my fiancé was in th army, he was stationed over in Germany. I was flying over to spend a long weekend with him and packed a butt plug, blue pills and lube into my hand luggage ( I didn't take a suitcase unless I was staying a while ) and I thought wrapping them up in my spare clothes would disguise them. They made me empty my bag infront of about 200 people waiting to go through security, including a stag party and everyone jeered and shouted. Was so embarrassed lol. Not only that but as I was carrying his uniform jacket over my shoulders I tested positive for explosives a little further on. Everything was fine once I explained but I'm surprised I managed to make that flight at all

Stow

With a powered non metal toy, remove the batteries.... that's what gives it away on the scanner

Right my source for this list is attn, I am not posting a direct link because it may not meet forum guidelines. However, they list the following countries as banning sex toys:

Maldives - Sex toys fall under “pornographic materials”

Saudi Arabia - considered as pornographic materials

The United Arab Emirates -

Thailand - “obscene objects,” banned from being brought into the country

Vietnam - passengers who bring sex toys with them in their luggage will be ordered to hand them over to customs officers, and the objects will be kept and returned to the passengers when they exit Vietnam

India - any book, drawing, figure, or object “shall be deemed to be obscene” if it fuels lascivious or overtly sexual thoughts and behaviour

Malaysia - someone who sells, distributes, or possesses “any obscene book, pamphlet, paper, drawing, painting representation or figure, or any other obscene object whatsoever ... shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.

The United States (Alabama) - You should be OK carrying you own one but sale of sex toys has been criminalized

So if your heading to these places you may want to consider a bit more carefully if you want to risk you favourite toys and it really may be best to leave them behind if your off to Malaysia.
