I never know what to say when contacting people for the first time, do you prefer to have it polite and chatty or a bit naughty? What questions do you like to be asked?

Once the messages begin to flow and we click a bit, bit easier, and met two wonderful couples. As well as having some good conversations with others. Just wondered if anyone else struggles with the first message.

Some women on their profile actualyl state not to be rude etc. some say they want naughty messages. Read the profile as they give a lot of information or atleast enough to make a decent judgement call then type away my friend. Personally i like to write a nice message, start with a hi, how are you etc. then tell then who you are strong points, and add a joke or two. women love funny guys and enjoy a joke.

Take care

Generally I find that I get the best response from people who have taken the time to write a good, interesting profile - not just because there's usually something in the profile I can pick up on and offer as a conversation starter but perhaps also because people who make the effort themselves tend to be able to spot someone who does the same in their message and appreciate the effort.

likewise I generally see a poor response from people who don't make an effort to write a decent profile - so I rarely bother to mail them ...... unless they look really hot lol!

so my point is, it isn't always about what you say and how you say it, but applying a little quality control to WHO you say it to can make a big difference to the chances of getting a reply
