I've been contemplating my arrival on the scene all those years ago and why it just seems all so normal; sex with strangers, naked bodies in hot tubs and all that jazz and I've just think I've discovered why it's no big deal for me.

I was a child of the 70's. All that sauciness on telly, my dad's skin mags under the bed, topless waitresses, playgirls. None of it was shocking and I never understood the negative reactions to it all, Mary bloody Whitehouse was a pain in the arse!

I've just watched an episode of The Darling Buds and it's full of swinging innuendo, sex and scenes incredibly close to the bone, all wrapped up in British Sunday afternoon viewing.

It's no wonder this doesn't surprise or shock me, I grew up with it!

For me it was a total shock.

I grew up with Carry On and Benny Hill - so I thought was what "naughty" sex was - sex with saucy clothes

Very much! Its only with the internet - that you realise that there are others with the same interests are so and that they are quite normal interests (stamp collecting, swinging) - before that it was super hard to meet swingers

We met some new friends about 8 years ago that were swingers, they weren't particularly open about it but it was common knowledge where we lived.

Prior to that as much as we'd always fancied threesomes and moresomes we'd never really looked into how we could make it a reality, so swinging websites were new to us at that point. We had previously come across a website for The Office in Bristol we were intrigued but having a young family we never really gave it much thought.

I remember also when i was younger being into the older lady/cougar thing - and again went on a very vanilla dating website.
