Just gauging people's thoughts on matching underwear... just made pic black and white before uploaded as underwear not matching... in fact very little of mine does but is it a deal breaker?

It's not a deal breaker I don't think,, I will always wear matching underwear on a meet or to go to a club,, but don't wear knickers any other time

A lot of my stuff is matching but i think its personal choice...i just feel sexier when ive dressed up as my job usually calls for sports bras rather than lacey ones!

I prefer to mismatch underwear, I find it incredibly dull stuck in the mindset that underwear has to match, shoes and handbags have to match, colours in clothes have to compliment each other etc etc.

I have always liked clashing colours and patterns. In relation to underwear, I like good quality pretty underwear but it doesn't have to match. I would rather have beautiful quality underwear which doesn't match than a cheap matching set from Asda.

There are no set rules in relation to clothes, we each have our own style. Some of us play it safe, some of us prefer a more unique dress style.

I couldn't care less if a woman's underwear matched your not. TBH I don't think I would even notice because I would be more concerned with taking it off

My partner has asked me to clarify that although not always matching underwear I certainly do ensure for nice nights or meets I always plan my underwear perfectly and don't just grab anything .... think he is worrying I have presented as wearing dodgy pants and old bra and reduced our chances of future meets

I don't understand matching underwear. What if I'm wearing black trousers and a white top for instance? I'm beginning to think I'm too pragmatic to be sexy! I wear what's sensible according to the outfit I have on. I never buy matching underwear. I don't care a less if yours matchs or not. Do what suits you.

More I thought about it he might be right lol

As I normally just mix and match but if I'm going out somewhere special i wear something nice and sexy, I always make effort to wear matching sexy underwear to match my outfit

Lol I did mean thong .But I have went with no bra with a nice fitted top or dress with bra fitted in it for a bit of support .Just too hide the hard nipples poking through really .

Think of it this way - if it doesn't match at least you get to take off that which you like best or least like best.

If it's all matching, we can be spoilt for choice and not know which end to start. Hoorah, and thanks for mixed undies making it easier and to the women who wear them (by choice or default)!

I have one set and only because the pants actually fit. Tescos, and I only wear the set in clubs.

I don't think for photos or every day life it's truly that important.

In every day life I have a job and work hard and frankly if people are seeing my underwear then something is wrong.

If I am going to meet someone I do like to make an effort and I feel more comfortable if I have chosen something that matches. I do like to chose an outfit specifically for that eventuality too. I might chose an outfit that is red if I know the person particularly likes red. I might go with a specific fabric if it's something I know they like. I tend to match my underwear to the person I am meeting, it excites me to think about their expression when they know I have gone to this effort for them. Usually my meets are planned in advance so I like it to be a part of the build up and will send them a sneaky message to say "I'm going underwear shopping today" I won't tell them what I've bought because I want them to think about it, I want them to want it.

If I turned up and a guy was wearing Spider-Man boxers I would think that was fairly careless and they clearly hadn't put a lot of effort into their appearance for me, so if I'm putting in effort I expect it back.

Ultimately the idea is to take off the underwear sure but isn't the best part of opening a present the unwrapping of the surprise?

It makes me feel more confident and sexier on a meet if I know I've put in that little extra bit of effort. I wouldn't necessarily rule out meeting someone if they didn't wear matching underwear (or at least not novelty underwear) however I would secretly hope that they would wear something that matched.

I've never been to a club but if I went I would expect everyone to be wearing matching underwear.

I think I'm reasonably clever. Some might even say sophisticated in certain respects...

...but I do basically spend most of my imaginative energy looking past the clothes/underwear to the naked person beneath. I am, in fact, a creature of base desires and a big fan of nakedness.

With apologies to all of the ladies who have gone through so much effort to look stunningly sexy.

Can honestly say I don't own a matching set...I have way more knickers than bras for starters...I do however have a bra and knickers that look exactly like they're a set but they're not...even bought from different shops
