When does being confident and sometimes assertive become to pushy one guy we met tried it on in the pub in the afternoon under a table surely a social means social to get to know each other how desperate are some people on here we would also like to keep someone as long term friend not a knotch on a bed post

I agree that a social means a social, unless all participants decide otherwise. If I arrange a coffee meet, coffee is what's on offer XXX

There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance but we can always see when someone has crossed it. Usually time to back away and leave them to the pleasure of their own company.

No we don't, but that's exactly the kind of shit attitude a lot of guys have come to expect from some couples

I think socials are a good idea all round.

Despite people thinking a single guy will fuck anything with a pulse that's not true at all...sometimes the social works in their favour to find out if the couple are araeholes!

As a single guy, I prefer to have a social first. Nothing better than having a laugh and a flirt to see if your going to click

they absolutely don't. We've had many socials with single men and only one overstepped the mark.

You've had a bad experience with one man, it doesn't mean they're all like that.

In future make it absolutely clear before you meet that its social only. If once you get there they over step the mark leave immediately.

Rock

We have a rule that the first meet is a social and that's it. We've only had 2 that tried it on: one single male tried to persuade me to have a play meet there and then when partner went to the loo; the other off another site, the single male put his hands on me when partner went to the loo. Needless to say, we didn't see either of them again!
