I’ve had a pubic for about 11 years, no problems with it whatsoever, no pain and not much blood. Had a barbell in it when it was originally done but changed it for a ring.

Never had any negative reactions from women to it, only positive when they find it

Best advice I can give with piercings is get them done just before going on holiday - swimming in sea water clears piercings up a treat

It is the only piercing I have and its usually pretty discrete even when naked because my forskin covers the ring.

I understand it's not for everyone but I don't understand why those ladies that don't like don't simply ask that we take em out.

It take's a few seconds to remove a PA ring and there is no mess when you do. The only evidence it was ever there is a small hole near your glands. that hole leads to the same passage way as the hole in the tip of your penis does.

I have never been offended if asked to remove it.

Had a pubic done a long while ago.

The girl i was seeing loved it & used to grind hard on it.

Unfortunately i started seeing her only a couple of weeks after i had it done , & was also working on a roof at the time with a scaffolding covered roof .

I started with a nipple then had the PA done. The PA quickly went from 2m to 10mm which was just too big and heavy. Girlfriends loved it though so I relegated it to just for sex. I then got a frenum which is now up to 5mm which I'm happy with. That can stay in all the time and is rarely a hindrance. The jewellery has no rough or sharp edges so there is absolutely no reason to be wary of condoms splitting.

I've had a pa for years. Some people love it, others hate it.

It's always been a good conversation starter as most people have questions about them, the favourite one being, "did it hurt?"

It does hurt a little when getting it done but it's over in seconds.

If I wear a large heavy ring for a while it can start to irritate but I can wear smaller or lighter ones all day without any side effects.

If you want a piercing have it. If you don't like it after a couple of weeks take it out and let the wound heal. If you dont have it done you'll always be wondering what it's like to have one.

If you stay with the small initial ring it will probably close up after a couple of weeks. Stretched out to a larger gauge it may never fully close although it may reduce in size. Mine I think is permanent as I went up to a large gauge.

Don't see why not. You will find that the hole will shrink a bit, maybe enough that it will feel very tight putting the ring back through and might hurt a little. Once you go up a few sizes that becomes less of an issue I have found.

I think mine started with a 1.6mm ring. Personally I felt that was a bit like cheese wire so I stretched up as soon as I could. Have to admit the stretching hurt more than the piercing. They use a steel rod that ends in just over the new size so the new ring can be passed through in one motion. After that it pretty much stretched fairly naturally. As to timing of stretching that varies and is best discussed with your piercer.

Pretty quick on both parts, 4-6 weeks to heal, and the hole starts to shrink in just a few hours. I just leave mine in.

My one piece of advice is to start big, I started with a small gauge and stretched up to a 5mm, and currently working on a 6mm stretch.

Too late for me. I quickly stretched up to 10mm but I rarely wear it now as the skin that separates the two holes isn’t that much anymore. I wear a frenum all the time now that’s stretched to 5mm.

I have just had a frenum done feels a little sore still. The hole has stretched to about 3mm so I have ordered a thicker bar, got a curved bar there at the moment with 6mm balls on the end feels intense when I am hard.

An update

It’s now 9 weeks since I had my frenum pierced. The hole is now stable and changing the ring is no longer painful.

I have tried various lengths and thickness of bar both straight or curved. The combination that seems to work best is 12mm long curved 2.4mm with 6mm balls. You can see this on my photos. Also, the 12mm bar with 6mm ball is good but it does not quite sit as well on the most sensitive area just under the helmet. I have found that when I wash the area as I do every day I get a little release of precum when I roll my foreskin back up and then adjust the balls so they sit just under the helmet. Has anyone else experienced an increase in easy of precum release?
