Wouldn't it be good if you could make your own subject or area chat room on here to invite people to or to go to? What do you think? Do you think should be more choice of rooms? If there was, What would you have or call them?

bad idea in my opinion

on another site we used you can do this and it just led to a lot of bitching and back stabbing and control freaks wanting to be the one that held the room key and made up the rules

much better on here with general rooms from what i have seen so far but then i haven't really used it much so maybe i just haven't witnessed it yet

yeah i think within reason its a good idea, especially for local area based chat rooms eg. 'North East room'. I know theres Northern rooms but its still quite general. Its good to know you can chat to people actually close enough to possibly meet sometime.

Also genre of sex rooms would be good so you can chat about similar fetishes with people that you know arnt going to be shocked as you mention something

Well I'm surprised by your experience from the other site presumably SH..

yes you have control within the room you create and if the SITE chat rules are breached you can kick them out; should they persist you can report the individuals to the SITE, there are also moderators patrolling the rooms.

its been working in that format very well for at least the last 6-7 years that I've been a member.

you get the odd occasion when someone throws their toys out of the box, but you get that here in the forums as many can testify to.

when you consider that they have 1.3 million members an occasional spat in a room is pretty insignificant.

you can also set up rooms with a password so only the people you want can chat and web cam together.

I've personally never found the chat rooms here to be all that friendly..

just my view and observations.

as for your comment about control freaks you perhaps should remember that you could have created your own room..

this is basically a free site.....does anyone understand about band width and all those issues of providing more and more space to satisfy requests ???...just enjoy this site for what it is .... and its FAB !!!

Another site has the facility for this...when bored a friend used to open a shitting in handbags room

TBH it just means a lot more work for the mods as ppl contantly try to open taboo subject themed rooms.

id like there to be a voyeurism room, where people can go and play... i know a lot of people want to play on cam and be watched but not directed, they do it in general/northern chat and the whole conversation then is comment of "nice pussy" "you need a tongue" "ive got somethin that can fill that" drives me nuts when the rest are just tryin to chat!!!

I have tried em all SS ...Im always sociable and good fun but even the couples dont want to know...and Im a bi fem!!..

Its got to the poinnt where I dont bother trying any more, I just sit there and watch, but beleive me it gets boring after 3 hours

Of course you are allowed and I don't believe I said otherwise. What I have simply pointed out is that the rooms on SH have evolved over the years and have changed in their style of layout and server capability over that period and all that time you've been able to create and control all within the site rules.

As a site it clearly has far more members who would vote with their feet if the problem as you see it was such an issue.

Once again I will point out that you still had the capability to create and password protect your own room.

More importantly you were trusted to have and use that functionality correctly and within the site rules.

Not an option you have here.

I cam count on both hands the number of times I have used the rooms here and found them to be as accommodating or inclusive.

Not the same as the other site; but in the same vein I was recommended Fab by someone from SH and I myself have rec Fab.

so as far as I concerned both have their plus and minus.

Just my opinion which as you would say 'I'm entitled too'.

The chat rooms are what you make of them...if you sit on the sidelines, say hi and expect everyone to bring you into the chat you won't get anywhere as no one will realise you are still there.

If you join in/ butt in and generaly make yourself noticed, people notice you, they answer back and hey presto, you enjoy it more.

Try it, it can be fun.

its all just personal taste i guess

but can i just say its not 1.3 million members its 1.3 million profiles a huge ammount of which are innactive many were opened years ago then they forget password as they didn't use it for an age then open another and then another, in fact in our group of friends on there we are about the only ones that have our original profile many of them are on thier third or forth

i like chat on there don't get me wrong i'm just saying i have seen that there are many problems in the specific rooms that get opened where as the pool or beach bar seem to flow much more nicely without the "its our room with our rules" mentality i have seen quite a few times on there, i do frequent the BBW room on there from time to time and have hosted it many times in the past but the room politics drives me crazy so in the last couples of years our visits have become incredibly sporadic

i don't tend to use chat here i drop in occasionally but it is very rare so i can't really comment on it here i just purely said i prefer general chat rooms thats all

I think I wouldn't use them, from experience private chat rooms turn into love fests between groups of people and I don't like bowing down to people to be able to get in....plus if it is the same people using them day in day out, it gets boring , as no new people turn up.

Public chat rooms are better I think as you never know who is going to turn up that day to give you a laugh.

As another observer of room politics can i just agree with bouncy.There was the mad situation of 2 rival bdsm rooms running,cos of disagreements.

i love chat here,the directing rooms for filth and general for just chatting.But ppl need to remember chat is what you make of it...i am not going to use my pub analogy again,but believe me,its accurate!

I’ve not bothered my arse you check how may of the people in favour of this site providing the option of being able to have your very own chatroom, are in fact site supporters…. Coz these facilities cost money to create and maintain,,,,,,, just a thought!!!……

you're missing the point...all are available on SH. they provide the facility for public social rooms, social rooms, social rooms with rules and private rooms...

choice is the word....thats all I'm proffering.

just as you have the choice not to use them for the reasons you've stated..

Just for the record - Jem and Bouncy, and a guy with floppy blond hair who was quite cute, I cant remember his name though, sorry, are the only ones I think that have ever spoken to me in the chat rooms.

It has to be said though I dont frequent them regularly and people do form bonds with people that they talk to regularly

But I would also add that on specific times I have tried it, I do butt in and generally try and chat. I am not a shrinking violet particularly, so I do butt into conversations. It is what you make it I guess, no doubt if I put a cam on and shook my tits at it people would say hi
