We try to put real effort and thought into an opening message if someone takes our fancy.

We hopefully get across we've read the profile and what it is that appeals to us, as well as giving a little more info about ourselves and we include face pics if we are looking for a play meet.

Our profile gives plenty away and we hope it's quite informative for what we do / like etc.

So, it kind of rubs us up the wrong way when we get a message from a profile that has the standard 'here for fun' in the comments box and no pics or preferences. And all they have in the message is a question or list of questions wanting more information or more pics from us whilst giving nothing away about themselves.

Why they think we'll reply is beyond us - it's a delete and move on.

i get loads of them, not just on here but on all sites. think you manage to tune them out eventually.

nothing wrong with deleting them at all.
