London/ South West (Devon, Somerset).

I was arranging a meet with a lady, who then said she was on Mat leave and she would want to bring the little one with her! Very nice lady and I'd like to rearrange.... (as long as she doesn't read this lol).....but that was a bit much for me and I declined. I think I did the right thing! Answers on a post card!

Assuming you're talking about a social. If it was a baby asleep in a car seat then it just 'might' be Ok if she was someone you really wanted to meet - guessing if she's one her own, it might be tough getting a sitter.

If it was a screaming one year old running round the place - big no !!

Sounds like a piss take.Bringing a child out on a date suggests somebody has a screw loose.

I wouldnt bring my child with me as its a bit weird. But perhaps the ladie really couldn't get a baby sitter or has no one. Nawt wrong with just a lidgit social meet in public I guess, so long as your not going round her house.

Either a loony or someone's pulling your plonker. No way would a right minded person take a baby to a meet with a stranger XXX

That's just bizarre. Doesn't matter how old the child is or wether it was just a social, it's a definite big no no!

If and when I accommodate, I take down pictures of my kids.
