The Bubbly Euphemism?

Why is it that so many 'large' and/or 'ample' women on here describe themselves as 'bubbly'?

I haven't exactly done a scientific survey but it seems so many more do than those who are 'slim', 'average', 'curvy' or 'athletic'.

What gives ladies?

Im not bubbly ... im biggish still cant decide when one becomes a BBW .. size 20 perhaps not quite there. but bubbly no definately. maybe cos the choices arent great ..

IMHO, ladies who are at ease with themselves, regardless of their size, are bubbly.

We use bubbly (off-site)to describe a bigger girl, with a good personality.

Maybe larger ladies think they need to make up for being fat and therefore try harder to be fun and to have fun?

Or maybe they are confortable in their skin and are bubbly cos they don't care what anyone else thinks?

I'm sure that the term bubbly describes a fun, confident, friendly person regardless of their size.
