Its funny what 1 day can do to ones profile.

I just turned 41 and im automatically blocked from sending messages to people ive already messaged in the past due to my age.

Kinda sucks

If they replied - the filters don't apply! If they didn't - they do!

Without being mean - it's one very good reason not to send a 'no thank you!' Response - as it renders any filters/future filters useless! Xx

I turned 40 the other week and had the same bad feeling! But it's just a number and people certainly age differently to others.

Give them a wink instead and see if they start a conversation!

are you sure you don't mean filters?

obviously if people have age filters on then yes, you will be blocked from messaging them but if you have previously messaged them then it should still let you do so

Filters!!! Thats the thing i was looking for. Yes sorry for the confusion. Being blocked is one thing and being filtered out is another. Same result at the end of the day though lol.

Ive definitely been filtered out from profiles i have contacted before. Im certain of it otherwise this post has been pointless and made me look like a proper dick LOL!

I change my filters all the time (just to confuse people ) but I can assure you that people who contacted me and I responded to can still contact me now, even though my age filter states 50-51...

If I get a reply "no thanks" I block so as not to waste both our time in future. If I get no reply, I am not sure where I stand. Instant delete also equals instant block. Age filters are irritating now and again but I guess serve a useful purpose

No difference for me. I'm getting to know some pretty hot guys in the 45+ age bracket. I like people my own age or thereabouts and there seems to be plenty here. And as long as they aren't all seeking younger women it's good for me

We were already over 40 when we started swinging and have had no problems

There's plenty looking for those that are not so young any more.
