Dirty filthy

Why do people describe themselves as dirty and or filthy? To us it conjures up images of grubby smelly unwashed bodies, according to google!

Dirty: soiled, grimy, grubby, filthy, mucky, stained, unwashed, greasy, smeared, smeary, spotted, smudged, cloudy, muddy, dusty, sooty And also

unfair, dishonest, deceitful, unscrupulous, dishonourable, unsporting, ungentlemanly, below the belt, unethical, unprincipled, immoral

Filthy: dirty, mucky, grimy, muddy, murky, slimy, unclean;

But then maybe this does describe some of the people on here

It's just a semantic change according to context. Can be applied to all kinds of words. I'm sure when people call themselves gay on this site they aren't (usually) saying they are happy. Same as if someone said "I enjoy behaving badly" they wouldn't be alluding to stealing your wallet or punching a child in the face.

However, just incase, always plan meets in close vicinity of a shower or bring some bleach along with you.
