"Do you have any evidence for this" There's a risk of getting or passing on STIs if you're giving or receiving oral sex. The risk increases if either of you has sores or cuts around the mouth, genitals or anus. This is because viruses and bacteria, which may be present in semen, vaginal fluid or blood, can travel more easily into a partner's body through breaks in the skin http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/STIs/Pages/Sexualactivitiesandrisk.aspx#Oral-sex

Is the mouth to genitals virus slightly different in some way? Is it hpv 1 on the genitals? Or does the hpv1 mutate to hpv2 when it touches the genitals. I need a doctor to explain this to me.

" The ones that I know do, yes (or at least tell me that they do); most of them are OTT about safer sex and have walked away from situations that wasn't right for them personally - it all depends on attitude I guess and birds of a feather flock together ![]()
