why is it that this site has so many fake profile.one day you message someone and get reply then next day they have gone!is it coz its free and there are alot of wannabes

For some reason lately there seem to be an awful lot more ?

I have been contacted by several guys and couples wishing to meet up and when you go to the trouble of adding them as a friend and exchanging phone numbers etc they all of a sudden hide their advert, remove you from their friends list or simply block, you god its so bloody annoying when people do that sort of thing.

So i have redone my advert bit with a nice big capital letter thing and hidden most of my pics since putting it on have almost got rid of the 5-6 invites daily from wannabes its hard enough trying to meet with genuine people without having to put up with them on the net

The strange thing is once you have deleted them from your friends list they contact you again saying "what's the matter i thought you wanted to meet people?"

i know its a fair bit wrong of me, but i treat most as fakes now, i never make 1st contact with anyone and am never rude or dismissive of those that contact me, if they and I seam compatible i will give it all "yer ok, heres my msn and phone number" etc etc, but generally dont hold out hope they will get back, but now and then a cple or female will do or say somethin that will prick my attention and give me an inkling that they are real and serious, hard to say what it is, you just know, but until then i treat people as dreamers, as if for nothin else it save me wasting time and getting my hopes up

In the case of women (I know one woman who left) it is because they get inundated with single line replies from desperate single men with cock shot photos. In the first day of joining she got 120 replies.

I wonder if single men had to pay to £1 for each women and couple they e-mail they would still carry on e-mailing hundreds of people at a time using copy and paste?

Isnt it the nature of these sites (sadly) AFF is appalling for spammers wannabies and fantasists so its not just because this sites free. I hate to think how many messages I've sent to folk over the years where they're one of those or dont reply because they probably think you are. Finding someone genuine is like finding a rare flower and then you have to be careful in your excitement not to crush it when you try to pluck it too quickly.

It's not just this site, all sites have fakes, the only difference being that most of the other sites fleece people for up to 50 quid a shot ...

That's when it's time to start complaining

It also has to be borne in mind that not everyone who leaves the site is a 'fake' there are many reasons why people leave, or are asked to leave.

I have noticed mainly single women that are on the site as New Profiles, are on a week, delete them then back on again, virtually identical, all with no pictures, same names.

Either they are just fakes are get spooked really easily by the volume of traffic and don't know how to stop being pestered. Its bad if they are genuine, but really makes me think otherwise!

People delete their profiles for lots of different reasons.

I have a friend who is a single female. She deleted her profile bcause she was sick of one line replies thet included one photo of a cock close up. She was also sick of getting abuse from men said no to. Some of the messages she received from men she said no to were very nasty and they would upset her.

She has since rejoined the site and is going to block every man who sends a one line reply, close up cock photo or abusive message.

The one that interested me the most. I can understand why some people can't have a public pic up. So long as they are willing to send me a photo I don't see the problem with not having a public photo up.
