Single girls who definitely aren’t...

We’ve noticed a lot of single girl profiles but they go on to say that they have a partner or a “dom” (silly word!) and meets will include him there.

It winds us up that they’re posting as a single girl. The site’s rules date that you have to list as what you are. If your other half is going to be at every meet, you’re a couple. Having a single girl profile is just false advertising. Lol.

Just one of the many pet peeves we have about the site (or rather some people on the site).

I am currently only meeting couples and guys with my man - I redirect these people to my couples profile.

However I use my single profile to meet ladies as a single.

So that's wrong in your eyes?

Not condoning the guys who do this but if they are playing away, and therefore meeting alone, then they can't really say they're playing as a couple either. Maybe we need another category called "naughty guys"

Lol welcome to fab single life right

Was a bug bear of mine to earlier this year. Get a convo going and boom the old chestnut of partner appears.

Should be using a couples profile not single . Still guess it draws more potential meets .

No that’s entirely good and the correct way. You aren’t using a single girl profile to set up meets where your man will be there too. I think the way you’re doing it is perfect for this setup.

If it’s without wife/girlfriend consent it should be “cheaters”

Think you misunderstood what I said. Also known as cheating.

Oh and having a sex partner or Dom doesn't mean you are an actual couple.

Jayne has a profile on here, but doesn't meet as a single.

That profile is so she can go into chat when I'm in there on this profile, and it clearly states that on her profile.

If they only meet together then I'd consider them a couple - am I alone in thinking like that?

"I get really excited when I get a message from a 'single' woman only to read the profile to find out she has her partner present at any meets "

I'd go so far to say that most, maybe 80%? of the (few) messages I get from single female accounts have a man lurking in the background in some respect. Either because she wants him there at a meet 'but don't worry, he'll just be watching' , or even worse, she's trying to set up meets specifically for him using the female account as a cover ... 'birthday treats' seeming to be a particular favourite. Needless to say, the profile blurb mentions none of that ...

Whether they only meet together wasn't stipulated I don't think?

If that guy is going to be here at every meet (which some “single” girls state), then it’s technically two. A couple. Maybe not in a typical relationship, but a couple none the less. It’s very deceiving initially.

Yes, I thought the same thing. Dom is short for Dominant. Not a silly word at all. But then alot don't know the differance between Dom and Domme. Don't get me started on who holds the power = the Sub. Along with abuse is not tolorated in the community.

Although I agree with a number of your points e.g. that consent is key and in individual situations the sub may hold all the power (which in my view means the partner is a service top and not a dom/me).

I would suggest in the best D/S it is a mutual sharing of power. No one person holds the power, it is relatipnships) of mutual agreement.

But each relationship is different. However, those who say the subs hold the power make three mistaken assumptions in regard to D/S relationships. Firstly it is assumed that dom/mes do things to subs rather than subs wanting dom/mes to do things to them. In such a case I do not see how the sub has the power if they are seeking something from a dom/me. The second mistake is confusing the sub's ability not to permit things to be done to them as a special power dynamic. In fact it is just a basic human right. As an example a wife does not have the power in a marriage because she can refuse to have things done to her body. It is a relationship of mutual agreement.

The third is that the imbalance in numbers between men and women on Fab gives female subs more power and that this translates to the real world, which it does not. You ask male subs in relationships with dommes who holds the power, the answer will be the domme.

At the end of the day it is for people to organise their own relationship but it is a misunderstanding to say D/S relationships work one way or that other ways are abuse.
